The war was, basically, about who would RULE.
The Industrial North, or
the Agricultural South.
The south was getting taxed and tariffed to death It was a situation of 'Taxation without representation' and they got tired of it.
S***ery was not the prime reason although that's what these northern DC rebel Rouser's are trying to stir up to divide our nation e.g. black vs white. The old ''devide and conquer' routine.
