I h**e it when in line somewhere, grocery store, wherever, and the person in front of me chats with the cashier, asks questions and just takes their time like no one else is in the store - then - when it's finally my turn, I do the same damn thing.

I've discovered it's easier to count the number of drivers NOT on their phones, than those who aren't and it irritates the doo doo out of me - but when MY phone rings while I'm on the road - I gotta answer it, it MIGHT be important.

I get irritated by the number of people, in my town, walking around not doing anything. How do I know how many there are? I'm wandering around town not doing anything - but it's ok for me - I'm keeping an eye on THEM.

I detest people who try to tell me what to do, how to do it, or what to believe - and if they'd just do what I say and recognize that I know BETTER - everything would be fine.

I h**e people who talk during movies - because my wife can't hear my comments about the film.

I h**e people who leave their shopping carts right next to the parking spaces - because then there's no room for mine.

I make fun of people who just HAVE to buy the latest electronic gadgets - I prefer to spend my money on the latest power tool.

I detest people who think they know everything about everything, because if they'd ever pause long enough to listen to ME - they'd learn some stuff.

We have 370 million people in America, each believing that he or she knows what is best for everyone else - leaving us with 370 million people reluctant to take anyone else's advice.

I feel it is good to have a kind word or two with people you meet where you are out in the every day World.

I think that I pace the interaction to the point of keeping it in check & I try not to be a pest.

When there is a crowd I keep my exchanges short.

Standing in line with some one means it's time to find something to say.

When I find my self getting in some ones way or so I think. I have been known to say sorry but I just some times think it's My World and just forget abut others.

Actually being old I find people more accepting of what I do out in public. I don't know if accepting is the right word, but they are friendly for the most part.

You are old school floyd. As I am. It's how I was taught to behave in public. People seem to have forgotten the courtesy of lightly acknowledging one another and that's a shame.
Being recognized can be a feel good moment for most. Not all but most. If you get a grim responce just move along and don't give up.
Keep it going.

If you would take off your water wings, from yesterday's adventure, people would .....maybe pay attention to your advice.

I hope not. I get myself in enough trouble following my own advice, I don't think my conscience could bear the results of OTHERS following my advice. I am not, after all, a politician - so I do have a conscience ( not to mention principles, values, commitment, loyalty...... ). ;)

So, your final answer would be...leave the water wings on.

Or drink Red Bull, I hear you can get wings that way, if you aren't lucky enough to be born with them like me.

Child asks "water wings?", man answers " that's what angels wear to help them get out of ditches ". ( thanks for setting that one up, I owe you one. )
