where the term came from is of little importance as it's use as an identifier is now of prime importance
And furthermore, There is hall of fame stupidity and ignorance held in esteem by "Tea Baggers" in this forum.

I quote from Constitutional libertarian: "... really couldn't care less what you call fiscal conservatives just please I ask it again of both you and others before this leave race on the table outside?"

I have a a question to ask you 'Constitutional libertarian': What planet have you been on?

The "Tea Party" being the heir, both metaphorical and literal to those who opposed the Civil Rights Movement, is not empty rhetoric. In fact, there are direct connections between the language, organization, and political philosophy of those who opposed bringing down Jim and Jane Crow of years ago and today’s "Tea Party".

Fred Koch, the patriarch of the Koch family, was a founder of the white r****t organization known as the John Birch Society, which along with the White Citizens Councils (and other White reactionaries) actively opposed the civil rights of African-Americans.

His sons, Charles and David Koch, are carrying forward this work through their draconian opposition to school desegregation efforts. In keeping with their elder's politics, and the undeniable fact that these Koch brothers are behind the faux populist Astroturf Tea Party movement.

The "Tea Party", and the Republican Party in mass, have embraced the legacy of the Confederacy (and by implication, those who opposed the Civil Rights Movement) by using the rhetoric of “nullification”, “States’ Rights”, and “secession”, as well as advocating for a “Second Civil War” to combat President Barack Obama’s policies and (twice) e******n. It is no coincidence that racial tyranny of the Confederacy by the White Right are embraced by this lunatic "Tea Party"

Guilty by implication of nullification rhetoric ???
Not sure if you have read any of the current manifesto's of what the tea baggers are advocating but no where that I have seen does it say succession, second civil war, anti civil rights or opposition to desegregation.

I don't care what race, color, religion or what your sexual preference is nor do most of the fiscal conservatives I know. But if your good with your 13 year old daughter having access to morning after pills and you not having any say in it the gov has gone to far. And as for your desegregation rant, i have no problem going where we all know the current problem lies. I taught in an inner city school district and my ex wife is a principle in an inner city school. It's not teachers, money or curriculum it's government social engineering that has facilitated a break down of family values and until we can make people accountable for themselves we will never achieve equal educational outcomes. It doesn't matter what race you are, if your raised by a high school drop out single mom your chances of being educationally successful are significantly reduced.

The district I taught in spends more money per student than any other district in the state busses students from one end of the city to the other and still has significantly lower test scores than any other district in the state.

your last two points , one access to contraception is important , denying it creates bigger problems , yes single females who have lower education is a problem and what is the solution assessing blame is not the solution
there are no short term fixes for these problems and expecting short term fixes is not a solution
you are referring to the fiscal conservatives a s being a separate group they are mixed in with other conservatives that have serious social change issues that alienate other groups

i really dont care what you call them they are the future and you can believe that.them dems have shot their wad with all this c*******m they have wrought.and the republicans are no better .the true conservatives are tired of the doemrat c****es and their men in wating the reps.

The associated term for your 'movement' - "teabagger" - was introduced to the political lexicon by your Tea Party 'movement' leaders.

On your Tax Day rally, April 15, the Koch brother funded program pushed out an astro turf group of 'organizers' with a gimmick. They asked people to send a tea bag to the Oval Office. One of the exhortations was “Tea Bag the Fools in D.C.” A protester was spotted with a sign saying, “Tea Bag the Liberal Dems Before They Tea Bag You.”

So, you so-called "conservatives" started using the teabagging reference yourselves, in terms of your "identity" - and then others ran with it, and ran with it. The origin of the term is relevant in determining the relative size of the Tea Party’s violin being played. Furthermore, what needs to be pointed out is the fact that the Tea Partiers not only invented the term, they did so in order to inflict a similar double entendre onto the President, the Democrats, and progressives in general. Hence, it’s a violin being played so small, you'd need an electron microscope with a zoom lens to see it.

Now, you people in this forum (and you know who you are) have a hissy fit when I call you what you named yourselves, trying to re-cast the term as a slur, that I am somehow using a term hurtful to all the Tea Party members who are just ordinary moms, dads, sons, and daughters - I believe your dubious bigoted code word is "Real Americans". The latter point has some resonance, but the former is ridiculous in the extreme.

In emails, protest signs, t-shirts, and online, early Tea Party literature urged protesters to “Tea Bag the White House,” and to “Tea-bag the liberal Dems before they tea-bag you.” The suggestion is that the metaphoric “tea-bags” be shoved in the mouths of the President, Democratic members of Congress, and even ordinary citizens who identify as liberal Democrats. The idea that you all just didn’t know the term’s only (at that time) meaning is belied by the fact that you obviously knew it was negative (and non-consensual), since you didn’t want it done to you, and also because it only had one meaning.

It was only after MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and David Shuster, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper, turned the tables on the term teabagger that you "Tea Partiers" objected. You were perfectly satisfied to advocate the metaphoric mouth-rape of liberal men, women, and children, but had the nerve to become indignant when the insult boomeranged on you.

For all you "Tea Party" members out there (who just make the world, less) - There is a way to distinguish the validity of a 'bias' or 'opinion' or 'belief'. It's called 'objective reality'.
And now the distraction and finger pointing away from my rational fact researched comments, to the altered reality delusion of "Tea Party" talking points begins.

"Tea Party" people are typically pathetic in their revisionist history commentary. As I wrote at the onset of this thread, "There's nothing quite like the alternate reality of the Tea Party."

Distraction what distraction I addressed your obsurdly warped classification of all conservatives as r****ts and for good measure tossed in busing. I don't live in some religious right deny science keep them b*****es in their place reality. Good grief man we have 20 million un or underemployed African Americans in this country. We need to invest in our countries future and assure our fellow Americans all have an opportunity to succeed in their own pursuit of life liberty and pursuit of happiness.

But we can't do that without serious consideration to what the underlying problems are. Yes r****m is one of them as is education but so are family values and increasingly rampant drug use. No easy answers no quick fix but to be like Pelosi and say there isn't a single dollar anywhere that can be cut from the budget is asinine.

But then you deflected again didn't you back to name calling than answer if you have actually read any manifestos

No matter how much whine and are offended by me stating the facts about how your astro turf 'movement' was founded, started shredding the constitution, crapping on the "Real Americans" here. No matter hoe much you lament about some kind of 'current manifesto' stating 'Tea Party Values', these facts are undeniable: Fred Koch, the patriarch of the Koch family, was a founder of the white r****t organization known as the John Birch Society, which along with the White Citizens Councils (and other White reactionaries) actively opposed the civil rights of African-Americans. His sons, Charles and David Koch, are carrying forward this work through their draconian opposition to school desegregation efforts. In keeping with their elder's politics, and the undeniable fact that these Koch brothers are behind the faux populist Astroturf Tea Party movement. I am sure that this made up Tea Party manifesto you write about is hogwash - full of inaccuracies and lies. Written in the same manner that "Tea Party" backers are attempting whitewash the ugly stain of s***ery in this country. For your information, the historical stain caused by the murderous oppression of black people by white people in America doesn't just go away - because you deny it happened.

OMG who filled you with so much h**e, next your going to say I club baby seals to death and I'm personally responsible for the destruction of the rain forest. For the record I'm part Native American no one is denying horrible atrocities were committed against people of African descent. When both the Russians and Chinese tell president Obama he's going to financially ruin the United States if he tries to implement ACA maybe just maybe he should have thought about it before exempting himself from it.

OMG. The typical response from you people is that somehow I am filled with h**e when I clearly identify the historical blatantly w***e s*********t mean-spirited agenda the "Tea Party" astro turf 'movement' is founded on. For a bit of clarification, when I identify r****t activity, it does not make me "...filled with so much h**e."

By the way, I wrote nothing about you clubbing baby seals to death or being responsible for the destruction of the rain forest. You are using another standard "Tea Party" method to obfuscate the content of what I actually wrote and take it completely out of context. In this case an attempt to delude the facts I presented about the r****t foundation of the "Tea Party"

Listen and learn.

The point was you are making huge leaps of assumptions just because there are very probably some very r****t people associated with any particular group doesn't make all of them r****t any more than the Soro's political agenda automatically makes it yours.

Have you looked up wilderness inquiry yet ?
