The 10 Commandments

If the 10 Commandments were obeyed by all America would survive and prosper instead of losing it’s wealth and corrupting ourselves into nonexistence. It is taught by those that don’t understand that God wrote the commandments to show our unrighteousness. That God wants a relationship with us whether we follow the commandments or not. That we can cheat on our mates, murder children through abortion, and steal if a white person kills a black person, but God needs us to support the church. This doesn’t make sense. Either follow and obey all of the word of God and apply it to your life, or else do whatever you feel like doing. Your repentance is meaningless if you live a life that goes against the bible. Our salvation should lead us to stop abortion and same sex marriage. Nothing should encourage us to steal, kill, or destroy. God came to this planet and wrote the 10 commandments in stone according to Exodus 31:18. We should read and obey them. The first four are between us and God. The last six are between us and everybody else You have to be a special kind of stupid to let anyone convince you that God sent Jesus to make it okay to cheat on your spouse, steal, and murder; but God needs your money to do His will, Meanwhile we vote in a government that aborts children, legalizes drugs and same sex marriage. We should know God’s will because we read God’s word.

The Ten Commandments include the punishment for disobedience. Are you ready to stone your child to death for disrespect? Play by the Mosaic Law or not.

There are not 10 Commandments; there are 613 commandments. All must be obeyed along with their punishments...if you want to live under Mosaic Law. The Law is not neatly divided into three parts; that is just a study aid. Promote obedience to the 10 Commandments then also stone your children to death that disrespect you and burn your daughter alive if she cannot prove her virginity at marriage. Do not cherry-pick. All the Law or not: your choice.

The intent of Mosaic law was to show us that no one could live by them and that the only atonement that could be made was by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in our place on the cross. Now it's quite simple to obtain salvation...declare openly with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. "For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."

The Torah or Law is an ancient law given to an ancient people. Times have changed and God will amend the law. Except for the Decalogue, that will stand forever. It will usually say in the Torah if a commandment is "perpetual" or "forever". There will be a new covenant mandated on all people, Jews and Gentiles. Jeremiah 31:31. "...for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem". Isaiah 2:3.

Obeying the Ten Commandments is like operating on DOS for computers today. Obey the Ten Commandments--then be ready to carryout the punishments proscribed. Stone to death the disrespectful child, burn alive the daughter who cannot prove her virginity. If you are to obey the Mosaic Law, then all of it has to be observed, along with its "just" punishments.
