Ever wonder how they got all those signs printed & distributed far and wide?

Did anyone besides me wonder how they got all those signs printed and distributed far and wide, including to all the national parks and cemeteries overseas only eight to ten hours after the government shut down? Take a look at this from someone who wanted to remain anonymous.

I have worked in the government on and off for 40 years. During that time I became quite familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding contracts etc. It is a time consuming process with bean-counters and pencil-necked bureaucrats every step of the way. The simplest request takes months not days or hours.

In less than 8 hours of the shutdown, miraculously, professionally printed 3X4 foot signs appeared all over the country in the tens of thousands saying-“this (park, facility, etc. with custom logos) closed due to government shutdown. There has not been a government shutdown in 17 years. These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were then requisitioned, bids were posted and vetted, government contracts were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured then distributed U.S. Mails or freight companies.

This shutdown was orchestrated and planned well in advance at least 6-8 months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this process. There is a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the White House.

Republican Rep. Peter King has not minced words, saying, Sen. Ted Cruz is to blame for the government shutdown. The New York lawmaker has skewered the "Tea Party" Texan, insisting there’s no reason for the government to be shut down. King has stated, “This was a fool’s error started by Ted Cruz,” further adding “But we can’t just blame him. We have to blame his acolytes in the Republican conference—30 or 40 who stood with him…I blame Ted Cruz and his supporters.” Republican Rep. Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania agrees with King in that there’s no reason for a shutdown.

Folks should not be fooled one bit by this age-old ploy to convince uninformed Americans who's to blame Cruz and the "Tea Party" use. This is despicable. Earned benefits have been delayed or stopped entirely due to the shutdown that the "Tea Party" meticulously planned to hold America hostage - a terrorist action (in my opinion).

Cruz, S. King, Congressman Randy Neugebauer, M. Bachmann, Palin, and others raced to and overtook a Veteran's rally this past Sunday to make sure their image is saved from their own actions, even to the point of shifting blame to others with hopes that the uninformed won't do their research or pay enough attention to think for themselves. Despicable.

My military service to this country was not so that 'certain' people can take away the livelihood and comfort of others, then point their finger at someone else for not 'negotiating' with their extreme demands - while holding a head to who they are supposed to be 'negotiating' with. These "Tea Party" members in congress know exactly what they did, unfortunately they have created safe gerrymandered districts of loyal uninformed and ignorant v**ers to keep them creating chaos and disruption in government (while "Real Americans" lose their jobs and their lives).

There is a way to distinguish the validity of a 'bias' or 'opinion' or 'belief'. It's called 'objective reality'.

yes, i also noticed that the signs were ready to go very fast and to me that meant they had planned this shutdown. it is all a game to them. they do not care a fig about we the people, only about winning over the many brain dead in this country who believe the lies that spew out of their mouths...they are the ones who are responsible for spreading h**e, and discord. all this is done, by the president...a man with an agenda to bring America down to bankrupt it, and to get rid of our constitution. but sadly only few people can see this

It is a cinch that people who read dhelix can't see this since they would never have seen the words of oldschool in the first post of this thread.

helix did a normal job of deflecting and hiding the words of the originator of the thread. It is so sad that people from that manner of thinking really believe nobody can see their attempts at deflection and hiding the t***h from all.

Oh well, it seems that very few people have seen those words up to now and it was all deflected by helix. He did his assigned job very well and Saul Alinsky would be very proud of the scoundrel.
