Learning to Trust...

It is human to be disappointed when we don't get what we want. But when we dwell on our disappointment, as if we should have gotten what we wanted, then we forget to trust that God may have something different & better in store for us. Many of us pray, "Thy will be done," but more often than not, when we don't get what we want, we may forget, ..... it may be God's will that we not get it !!
We can only know the present moment. This is our life all of it. When we worry about future wants or past disappointments, we don't leave room for ourselves in the present. What happens is we effectively miss " the now." When we let God take care of the future and let the past be the past, we live the best we can right now , & we can feel assured we'll be ready for the better things that are in store for us tomorrow.
Today, help me to trust in Your will & Your plan.

I've said before, I'm one of those hard heads who learns slowly and painfully... Most if not all my lessons have come form doing "it'"wrong at least once and mostly many times... The same with learning to trust God, His plan for me was perfect, and because of that I've been able to pass His message of sobriety to many... Don D.

Another hardhead. 45yr's to learn what I should have learned year's ago. Life is good. Sobriety is better!
