My thoughts also. The KKK used to lump us in with b****s & Jews.
I wonder what people like this guy think are true teachings & if he's found a religion that uses them as central to their creed.
And for wh**ever it's worth, I met Sheldon Richman who knew Murray Rothbard, the godfather of modern libertarianism. He said that Rothbard, either an atheist or an agnostic, was impressed with the Catholic Church's consistency with natural law.
And, it just occurred to me, that Thomas Jefferson mentioned natural law in The Declaration of Independence. Interesting to ponder.

When Constatine moved Christianity east in 313, it left the Roman Papacy with wealth but no authority and no following. This produced what we call the dark ages as bishops made deals with monarchies to share power over parishoners/citizens. Isn't it interesting to see the latest Papal Socialist sucking up to the U.S., the E.U., and the U.N.??? The Roman Catholic church has always been a cult!

Whoever made this video is full of it apparently doesn't know anything about the Catholic teaching

Back in the 90s, I moved to Mississippi & was somewhat apprehensive because of my Catholicism. I well remembered the controversy around John Kennedy's candidacy, even though my family far preferred Richard Nixon. The South had a reputation for anti-Catholic sentiment. The recruiters told me not to hesitate because Catholics were welcome.
I found that 100% true. People were curious about Catholicism. One person sought me out for my politics when I wrote an LTE with libertarian theme to The Jackson Clarion-Ledger. He expressed a lot of admiration for Catholic philosophers.
One of the fundamentalist evangelists, I think it was Jerry Falwell, told his followers to get over their hostility to Catholics, telling them that we had a lot of basic agreements & that what was happening to us, would be happening to them next.
No matter what else, our principles & teachings have been honed and distilled the longest of any other Christian tradition. It would help the debate far more to have far less of things like what this guy is propagating. Catholicism deserves a lot more deference than that.

And what religion are you, rebob14 or do you even have one? And did you check its origins or doesn't that count? We all have to live in this world & sow our legacy for the next one, if you believe in one.
As far as Pope Francis goes, it is an axiom of Cathlolicism that he is infallible, when speaking on matters of faith. That doesn't extend to the political world but we do use those articles of faith to inform our lives, inclusing our politics. Do you?

I agree and your last sentence is factual.

So PZG1225, rebob14 and the guy who started this thread, please illuminate all of us cultist Catholics, why and explain why your religion isn't a cult, or do you have a religion?

Couldn't finish it all as it's rather lengthy.....but so very true. Will finish this afternoon. An old saying within the Catholic church...."give me a child until he is 12, and you will never have him." And this NWO pope....well that's another story in and of itself! Be prepared to be bombarded!! There are gazillions out there! (Talk about opening up a can of worms?) :) :)

I have a religion. It's totally centered on God and His son Jesus Christ, who died on a cross so that you and I and mankind would have eternal life. You, crazy, will of course call that a cult. Undoubtedly you do not believe that the Bible is Divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. I'm not about to get in to a verbal back and forth with you regarding spiritual matters. "God said it.
Christ did it. I believe it. That settles it."
One last thing. You undoubtedly did not look at the video. Black and white my friend. End of subject from me.
