14th chapter Matthew

Verse 1 through 12

John didn’t travel from place to place leading praise and singing songs. His mission is predicted in Malachi 3:1-3. The next scripture says God will be pleased with His children. We should know this is not us as we legalize drugs, gay marriage and abortion. This has not happened yet. We can know this because verse 4 has not been fulfilled. God’s word is being used to line people who don’t know what they are readings pockets. When God’s word is applied to your life that makes satan your enemy. Minds deceived will not accept your interpretation if it disagrees with theirs and theirs isn’t built on a solid rock. We should know that this rock is Jesus. Jesus cannot be in your life if you ignore every sermon He preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed. John and Jesus were both killed and so were the disciples and anyone who spoke against the catholic church. I don’t know why the catholic church is considered Christian. Their actions are similar to the Sanhedrin than to Christ.

Verse 13 through 21

This is the only miracle besides the resurrection that is in all four gospels. What we need to understand is that Jesus explained everything to his disciples but He spoke to everyone else with parables. If you want to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven read the bible for yourself. You can’t learn to live life in a classroom setting. If they aren’t teaching the bible you are wasting your time on temporary things like emotions. Emotions like joy, sadness, depression are not things we should seek to control. Feelings change. Your mind can make a hell of heaven or a heaven of hell. If they reject God’s word, they are rejecting God. If they reject someone God sent, it is the same as rejecting God.

Verse 22 through 36

In this recollection it mentions Peter as the only one beside Christ to walk on water. This is probably because Matthew was also in the boat. During this time there was a fable that the last thing the crew on a boat saw before the ship sank was a ghost walking on the water. This may explain why the disciples were so terrified. Jesus healed those that needed it but in the next chapter the Sanhedrin will once again manifest itself.

None of us know the plan of God from beginning to end.
