During Wednesday night’s MSNBC town hall with Donald Trump, host Mika Brzezinski tricked the candidate into admitting his similarities with Democratic p**********l candidate and self-professed democratic socialist Bernie Sanders.

“I wanted to describe a candidate to you,” she began. “The candidate is considered a political outsider by all the pundits. He’s tapping into the anger of the v**ers, delivers a populist message.”

“He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare, he advocates for hedge fund managers to pay higher taxes, he’s drawing thousands of people at his rallies and bringing in a lot of new v**ers to the political process, and he’s not beholden to any super PAC. Who am I describing?” she asked.

Trump took the bait. “You’re describing Donald Trump,” he said.

“Actually, I was describing Bernie Sanders,” Brzezinski said to laughter.

“I’ll tell you, there’s one thing that we’re very similar in,” Trump admitted. “He knows that our country is being ripped off big league, big league on trade. The problem is he can’t do anything about it.”

One thing I know is, he can not be compared to Trump. Example: Healthcare is optional, open borders so there is national competition. You will not be fined if you choose not to participate. There already was some state choices before 00 decided to force his corruption fueled healthcare a******n on the public. We had the reputation as having the best health care in the world before 00 messed it all up. There were things to work on but not like the a******n 00bamacare turned out to be. You fail....there is no comparison. Bernie stands for every thing this country isn't. You want your children to go to college you fuckin pay for it. You want to eat you fuckin pay for it. You want any fuckin thing YOU PAY FOR IT. There are exceptions for certain situations of course. But this get it free s**t has got to stop. Citizens of this great nation v****g for a admitted socialist... You should all be ashamed of your selves. WTF... is the matter with you people. You may be citizens but you are absolutely not Americans. Those are the principals that Americans (true ones) despise, what a sorry bunch you are. Donald Trump is now and has always been a liberal/progressive, just the opposite of what this country needs. If elected, he will carry on the Obama/Clinton agenda, just like Sanders and Clinton. Electing Trump is the same as electing a Democrat, except the Democrat will be more rational.

I agree and disagree. I agree that his history suggests that he's a liberal/progressive, and I think he still is in a few respects, such as what was contained in the video, but I don't think he'll carry on ALL of Obama's agenda. I think he really wants to build a wall, and straighten out i*****l i*********n. I think he wants to ease restrictions on small businesses and bring jobs back home, and make America strong again in that respect. He does however have socialist views, which is made obvious by this "gotcha" question.

Worried for our Children-believe Trump should offer Sanders and position in a Trump administration. Since Hillary has bought most of the super delegates Bernie will not stand a chance at winning the nomination even if he gets the majority of the popular v**e. This is a devious democrat system designed to take the v**er out of the equation and let the power rest with the establishment. As an independent, if Bernie casts his lot with Trump, Hillary would be history. Good Luck America !!!
