Zika v***s

Dear Reader,

By now you've seen the pictures and they're heartbreaking.

Brazilian babies are being born with deformed heads and underdeveloped brains -- the classic signs of a birth defect called microcephaly.

And it's all supposedly due to the Zika v***s that's now made landfall right here in America.

But while our government is declaring a public health emergency and Big Pharma is rushing to create a v*****e, a group of doctors in South America is sounding a very different alarm.

They're claiming that a popular pesticide found in everything from our water supply to pet products is really behind the microcephaly outbreak.

And the Zika v***s may be just a smokescreen to protect billions in profits -- all while putting countless babies in harm's way.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Something in the water?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There's nothing more devastating than seeing innocent babies born with defects that will make every day of their lives difficult.

And as parents and grandparents, we'd do everything we can to protect the children we love from conditions like microcephaly.

But the more I started digging into the hysteria around the Zika v***s, the more it started to look like people were more interested in making a buck than saving babies.

Our government is getting ready to spend billions to fight Zika and the drug companies are promising quickie v*****es that'll have moms-to-be lined up around the block. It's like these Big Pharma sharks smell blood in the water!

And it looks like the water is where they should have been looking all along.

Because a coalition of South American doctors has discovered a new and very likely culprit behind the microcephaly outbreak. It's a pesticide called pyriproxyfen that's poisoning the water in Brazil and lots of other places -- including right here in America.

And this is no wild conspiracy theory, either, no matter what you're going to hear from Big Pharma and even our government. In fact, pyriproxyfen is actually designed to cause birth defects!

It keeps mosquitoes from infecting the water by causing deformities in their larvae and k*****g them.

And while we discovered the Zika v***s 70 years ago, they just started using pyriproxyfen in the Brazilian water supply in 2014.

That's right around the time all these microcephaly cases started showing up -- and that sounds like one heck of a coincidence to me.

Rio Grande do Sul, the fifth most populated state in Brazil, has even stopped putting pyriproxyfen into the drinking water of its more than 11 million residents.

But you can bet that the chemical industry and Big Pharma are already circling the wagons, trying to convince us that pyriproxyfen is as safe as mom's apple pie. Sumitomo Chemical, the $22 billion company that makes the stuff, practically called these South American doctors quacks and said there wasn't any "scientific basis" for their findings.

Sure, what are the odds that a dangerous pesticide could cause birth defects? We've never seen that before, right?

And what's really scary is that we're all being exposed to pyriproxyfen in places we'd least expect. It's in pesticides we use in our homes and gardens, and it regularly finds its way into our water supply.

I even found that it's being used in flea repellants we give to our dogs, like K9 Advantix. Just think how many pregnant moms have come into contact with this stuff just working in their gardens or trying to protect their pooches.

Now, I know what you're thinking. If we've been exposed to pyriproxyfen all this time, why aren't we seeing lots of microcephaly cases in America?

Well, the t***h is, we are. Every year around 25,000 babies in the United States are diagnosed with it.

Trust me, the whole story about this microcephaly outbreak still hasn't come out yet. But in the meantime, it's a good idea to check all the labels on your pesticides and pet products and steer clear of pyriproxyfen.

And if there are any pregnant women in your life, please share this warning with them, too.

Because when it comes to the health of our babies, we can't be too careful. And we sure can't wait around for our government or billion-dollar corporations to tell us the t***h.
