12th Chapter Matthew

Verse 1 and 2

The upper religious hierarchy didn’t care about anyone but themselves. They didn’t care about the disciples and were telling Jesus God wanted the disciples hungry and to suffer hunger until Monday morning. God doesn’t want anyone hungry and He doesn’t like it when His word is used to make someone miserable.

Verse 3 through 8

This event is found in I Samuel 21st chapter. David was running from Saul and eventually Saul has the priest murdered for helping David. This is the second time Jesus quotes the same scripture. God’s will is for us to be kind to one another and He never prefers worship over obedience.

Verse 9

Jesus sees there is a misunderstanding about the Sabbath day and wants to clear up an issue.

Verse 10

No one else could heal. This is how Satan works. When a foolish question comes in the minds of a lot of people, it’s probably the devil behind it. Obviously no one in the Sanhedrin cared about the man’s condition; they wanted to question the actions of Jesus.

Verse 11 through 14

This was an agrarian society and livestock was plentiful. Christ shows how stupid it is to use the bible to oppress. He didn’t quote a scripture from the Old Testament. He used simple logic. When the Pharisees were exposed, they want to use the bible to kill the son of God.

Verse 15 through 21

These words are found in Isaiah 42:1 through 4. Jesus was not interested in making a name for himself or in being popular. He is unimaginably gentle and when your strength is almost gone and your light is ready to go out He can supply new strength. Read John 1:11 and 12.

Verse 22 through 24

This time Jesus will ask a simple question which will not be answered. We all achieve what we set out to accomplish. If you aim for nothing you will hit it. If the only goal you want to accomplish is to feel good what about your children? It is well known that the best way to raise children is in a family with a father and mother. The questions in your mind come from satan and are not your own.

Verse 25
Three times in the bible Christ is quoted as saying, “A house divided cannot stand”. This nation will one day kill itself if we don’t find a way to smooth out our problems and iron out our differences. Death should never be a solution to life or life’s problems. The majority of us should have some goals other than getting high, drunk, or having orgasms. A good goal would be, becoming a homeowner, owning a car, or anything that will improve your life.

Verse 26

Islamic terrorist in Russia only kill people who they don’t know and blow up things.
They don’t do anything good for anybody. What do they use as a slogan to get new recruits? Help us destroy?

Verse 27

Their children didn’t. The things accomplished by Jesus and the Apostles haven’t been done since. If you want a good laugh, get a good seat when someone says they are going to walk on water or do something harmful to themselves using the bible as inspiration. The real power of scripture is in the ideas. It is making choices that produce positive results, and building stronger families. We should realize that we are at the top of the food chain and stop behaving like animals. We should set long term goals for our lives and work to accomplish them.

Verse 28 through 32

We are all grown. No one is afraid of anyone else. Jesus went to Calvary and rose from the dead three days later. Fear is just an emotion. You should control your motions and not let your emotions control you. That being said, it would be foolish to enter a man’s house like you own it. If you have any intelligence you should realize that in a strange house you are a guest. Another point, satan’s emotional appeals have no chance when compared with God’s logic. I’ve read the end of the book and God will win. Satan deceiving the whole world will not profit him at all, but then he is criminally insane and knows the truth already but won’t change his ways.

Verse 33
Do not separate your morality from your actions and choices. Everyone will recognize you by the choices you make and the actions you take. You will not have a good life making poor decisions. If your goals in life consist of eating when you are hungry, drinking when you are thirsty, and having sex whenever the opportunity presents itself then there is no difference between your mind and that of a dogs. It makes no difference to God whether you make good or bad choices. It wouldn’t be fair to judge you for committing and act where He is an accomplice. Everyone is known by what happens when they are in the room. If a disagreement occurs whenever you are around no one is going to want to be around you. If you abuse your privileges you are going to lose your privileges.

Verse 34

These were really satan’s children. They were more than spiritual children, they were his real offspring. That is why they were so wicked. Things don’t just happen. Everything has a beginning and an end. Before we speak the words are in our minds. If the actions are wrong then we shouldn’t do them.

Verse 35 through 37

This is really how you make your heart right. You have to decide to be a better person. You should respect yourself. If you respect yourself then you should want to avoid bad actions like being a junkie or a whore and make something decent out of yourself. If you don’t make something out of yourself like a teacher, preacher, or lawyer, you will be nothing. You won’t be anything. As a society we are too myopic. We teach bubble-gum Christianity where instead of putting in a quarter and getting a gumdrop we give God praises, tithes, and offerings a we are rewarded with pleasant situations and people approve of us. If satan has deceived their minds how can they have a clear understanding?

Verse 38 through 42

The Sanhedrin did not believe that Jesus was who He said He was; is who He said He is. They did not believe in Christ and used the Roman government to kill Him. That being said even though they killed Jesus He didn’t stay dead. By this time Assyria wasn’t on the map. (Nineveh was in Assyria). The point is death is not the end. Read Hebrews 9:27 By now all these people were dead so how could they do anything. If you read the words of Christ not only will a person have feelings after death, they will have memory of life.
Verse 43 through 46

Eventually Jerusalem was burned to the ground and everyone in it killed. If we believe the words spoken by Christ, Jerusalem was not a pleasant place to live.

Verse 46 through 50

We should not esteem one person above another. Jesus and God base their evaluation of a person on who does God’s will. Doing God’s will makes your life easier, but those deceived will disagree.

If Jesus cast out demonic spirits, it was done by Satan who was Jesus's god and his father. Jesus said, "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you". The Kingdom of God is a world ruling Kingdom that will be established by the Messiah and will never be conquered. It is also called the New World Order and it has not come about yet. Mary Magdalene had seven demonic spirits that were cast out of her. The NT says that after this, seven times more evil spirits will enter in. Matthew 12:45. Magdalene started the rumor that Jesus rose from the dead. Are you going to believe someone with 49 devils in them? The Messiah would be in the "generation of the righteous". Psalm 14:5, and will not come from an "evil and adulterous generation". Matthew 12:39.

Why would satan cast out satan? A house divided cannot stand.

Satan has authority over evil spirits. He is their lord and master. They all work together to deceive the world. Satan is the chief sinner and demonic spirits are his minions.

Satan would not cast out demons. His will is that everyone would be like him and be evil. All people possessed with demons are and were evil. Satan deceives people into believing he is God and he has done this since the beginning. Adam wasn't happy being the son of God, he wanted to be God. Through Jesus, Satan's counterfeit Messiah, Satan is worshipped as God. His mission is to convert the entire world and that is also Christianity's mission.

Is there a scripture that says Adam was not happy?

The serpent was a part of Adam's anatomy. Adam and Eve were naked, so it was out there. He was created as "more subtil" than other beasts, meaning he had a (human) intellect. Adam told Eve if they ate from the tree of knowledge, they wouldn't die as God had told Adam. He also told her "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil". Adam believed eating from the tree would make him a god. Genesis 3:1-5.

Nothing is said of Adams emotional state.
