Why don't you try to prove Jesus to me from the OT? I'm all ears. You cannot use the NT to prove the NT.

Just as you cannot use the OT to prove the OT then.

@mwdegutis. It would help if we could all read the same version of the Bible, I only read the KJV. It is not perfect, there are some mistranslations but it is remarkably accurate. Proverbs 14:15. "The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going" It is best to read the original Hebrew. Your source, who calls himself "Rabbi" is not Jewish. He is a Christian and according to your book is the "synagogue of Satan". Revelation 3:9. In Daniel 7:13, "son of man" simply means a person or human being. In Isaiah 9:6, the Messiah is called the "Prince of Peace". The NT says Jesus brought a sword and division. He is not the Prince of Peace. In Micah 5:2, Bethlehem is the city of David. Your understanding of it depends on how you read it. The one whose "goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting" is God. It's a reference to David (ruler/governor) and God. It's not about the Messiah. In Genesis 3:15, the one seed of Adam is Lucifer, and the one seed of Eve is the Messiah. In the NT, Jesus is called the second or last Adam. The Messiah is the second Eve who is also the daughter of Adam/Satan. There are thousands of Christian sects and they all believe something different. What is Jesus' new covenant? I think it is simply belief and love. Jesus did away with the law. Psalm 119:126. The entire bible is about God/Messiah and not just the last three years of his life. Psalm 40:7, Psalm 139:16. Jesus is not the living God of Israel, he is dead and he is Satan's counterfeit messiah.

The OT is the basis for all three Abrahamic religions. They have it in common. It proves itself by the literal fulfillment of prophetic scripture. I am a fundamentalist and the OT is the word of the living God.

The translation of the Bible that I read in my personal bible study is called the HalleluYah Scriptures. It is a literal translation from a number of places primarily from the Massoretic Hebrew & Aramaic text of the Scriptures, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Aramaic Peshitta.

I also read and quote The New Living Translation (NLT) and The English Standard Version (ESV).

The NLT conveys the meaning of the ancient Hebrew and Greek texts as accurately as possible to the modern reader while having the same impact that the original text had for the original readers. This is accomplished by translating entire thoughts (rather than just words) into natural, everyday English. For this reason and from leadings from the Holy Spirit, this is the translation I used the first time I read the Bible. It is also the translation I usually quote on OPP because it is easy to read and understand, accurately communicates the meaning of the original text, and is easy to cut and paste.

The ESV is an "essentially literal" translation that seeks as far as possible to capture the precise wording of the original text and the personal style of each Bible writer. It seeks to be transparent to the original text, letting the reader see as directly as possible the structure and meaning of the original. After contemplation and prayer, the Holy Spirit led my wife and me to this translation which is used by us in our bible study.

As for my, “…understanding of it depends on how (I) read it…” From the moment I was saved, the Holy Spirit indwelt in me. And I’ve been led to this verse many times when defending my faith…

“I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.” 1 John:26-27

On December 13, 1983, I made a public declaration of my divinity to my public speaking class at Old Dominion University. This fulfilled a number of prophecies, including Isaiah 53:1-3. and Psalm 41. It was my last speech and I wrote a paper, made thirty copies of it and handed it out to the class on the last day of school. (The teacher would not let me give the speech). There was supposed to be a clue in the paper as to which version of the Bible to read. I was born in San Diego, Ca. and it means "St. James", or King James. It was also the version of the Bible that I had, although I had never read it. I was born and raised a Christian, and I was never interested in religion. The KJV makes almost perfect sense to me, with the exception of a few mistranslations. I do not read other versions because it confuses scriptures in my mind. I can quote entire chapters verbatim and from memory because I've read the OT so many times. I have completely read the NT three times.

So let me get this straight…on December 13, 1983, you made a public declaration of your divinity, or according to Merriam Webster, your state of being a divine being as a god or goddess?

So you declared yourself God?

Let me share a word with its definition with you…

Blasphemy: The act of claiming the attributes of deity.

Are you mentally ill?

I'm sorry, mw. I thought you knew about my religious beliefs. Jesus was the blasphemer. Would you consider him to be mentally ill? I do have an underlying condition, but I take my meds religiously and haven't been hospitalized since January, 1986, over thirty years ago. I am completely and totally lucid. My psychiatrist and I have been together for over 39 years. He is ethnically Jewish, a child psychiatrist, and he is Elijah the prophet, and my savior. He also believes in me but didn't admit it until 2007. He will "turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers..." Malachi 4:6. That is in part what he does for a living. You have to be a nut to believe what I believe even if you're right. Psalm 38:7. "For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh". Job 30:18. "By the great force of my disease is my garment changed..." Psalm 41:8. "An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him..." My illness is mainly the result of severe childhood abuse and neglect including the "crucifixion" which happened on 10/22/69.

I always had my suspicions and what you've just shared confirms them. I'm sorry that you've had to endure what you have and it is my sincere hope that someday you come to the saving knowledge of what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. I speak from personal experience, and I know billions others can similarly attest to...that is the only way you'll ever be healed, saved, and set free.

Have you ever heard that the mentally ill are the chosen? Back in late 1984 they made a movie about me and it was called "Desperately Seeking Susan". Around the same time, I ended the Cold War and the American media called me the "50 foot shrunken apple head woman". The Russians commented that Americans had no respect for human dignity. I also ended the war in Ireland between the Protestants and Catholics. I restored pride to the military and I got the Jews out of Russia. I am a famous case history under the pseudonym "Martha", it was published in the early eighties by my doctor, who is the reincarnation of Elijah the Prophet. He sincerely believes the way I do about everything including our identities.
