Going the e-mail rounds.
One word: brace yourself!
Swiss pilot Yves Rossy, the "Jet Man"
has once again pushed the boundaries of aviation by making a beautiful flight over Rio de Janeiro.
He is the only man to fly with a rigid wing equipped with four jet engines:

I have listened to Barry Manilow's '(At The) Copacabana,' which, I believe, is in Rio. 8-)

That is a beach in Rio, correct and I have visited it a couple of times. However there have been a number of clubs called Copacabana so I don't know which he was referring to.

No, no, no, you're not stupid but you do seem young and adventures is all. I think that the queasiness factor would have sealed it for me. Anything more than a couple of feet off of the ground terrifies me, unless I am sitting in nice big airliner and then I am OK. That flying with a wing strapped to my back and powered by four small jet engines doesn't cut it sorry. Also I would have to learn how to work a parachute again classify that as pure terror.

She's something special that is for sure. I just wish that I was young enough to make a play for her. But where I am at now I don't think that I would last a day with that one.

I was just joking with you bahmer~~I know you weren't....I just think its so cool..As close to flying, like a free bird it would be...
And, yes, I would do it after I learned it..I am sure it takes sk**l, precision and strength to maneuver it....
I took flying lesson, started in a Cessna 2 seater, then the 4 seater and I lovedddddddddd it... The only difference between them was the 2 seater was single engine, the 4 seater, dual engine..I used to give the tower fits when identifying my "aircraft" for clearance to take off..Ya know like saying B~BRavoooo, C~~can we ~~1111..They would always get me for it...When I had to do the 30 second stall I about freaked, but sure enough it started right back up and Linda praised the Lord for sure~~
Nothing better than careening the coast line, seeing the dolphin running the ocean while your intoxicated by the sky, the breeze and that sense of complete oneness with life, liven and just being~~~Landings were also always fun, what a rush comen in.....lololol
