I'm a gamer, and I'm sure there are other gamers on here. If you haven't heard of Star Citizen, you're missing out. This just might be the greatest game ever. Here's a short video about the game, which is still in Alpha. I believe you can still become a backer, and get access to the game, along with some nice freebies, including a digital copy of Star Citizen and the single player game, Squadren 42.

Are you a PC gamer only, or do you use either Xbox one or PS4 ? I ask only because Star Citizen is only for PC. Apparently the developers are adamant that this game will "never be dumbed down" for a lesser platform.

That is correct. A PC is the only platform that can handle it. It requires some serious horse power to play it. Personally, I don't know why anyone would prefer any platform over the PC for gaming. Nothing else compares. There's also the fact that they just simply don't have manpower, or the resources, to develop it for multiple platforms. It's just too monumental a task.

I could never get into the PC gaming. I was "growing up" when PC gaming was first hitting the scene, they didn't really have joysticks/controllers, you had to use the keyboard, the up, down, left, right arrows, space bar, and letters performed certain functions. I just couldn't get into it, so I went with the regular gaming consoles, ultimately sticking with PlayStation. I'm not as into it as I once was. I use to come home from work around 11:30pm turn a game on saying to myself, I'll play for a little while, next thing I knew the sun was coming up lol.
