This new gerneration of v**ers for some reason seem to want to embrace socialistic
thinking. My question is two fold:

1. Other than not being taught in our schools from a young age through college what socialism really is and does to a country and its people, are they to stupid to even bother to research socialisms 100% failures?

2. Why the hell are the GOP candidates not putting out ads and reletively short videos on the type of destruction, in past and current times the real effects of what its like to live under the socialist/marxist/way of life?

No wonder these NUKLEHEADS are feeling "The Bern".

A little help here please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My answer to question #1 is ; yes, they're too stupid and too lazy!!!

My answer to question #2 is; I don't think the GOP is worried about it too much, because they know that in a general e******n, the socialist Sanders won't have a leg to stand on. Certainly not after v**ers see his tax plan to cover all the "free" s**t he's offering. I really hope that he's their nominee, it'll be one of the easiest victories the Republican Party ever had for a White House bid.

And, I totally agree with you that Republican candidates should show some of the destitution that socialism offers....👍👍👍

RINOs and Democrats are two sides of the same coin. It's like TV wrestling. V**e out every last damn incumbent. Of course, that will never happen, but we might be able to get enough of the duplicitous bastards so scared of losing their gravy train that something changes.

There is a chance, and a good one, that v****g out very many of those who don't give a damn about us may well cause them to open their eyes, finally.

I am doing my part; I am v****g against every Goddamn incumbent except my State Senator. You see, here in GA, our State Legislature is only part time. Our lawmakers have to have real jobs, too. That's probably why Georgia has a balanced budget and mostly sensible laws. We don't have professional politicians running things. Now if we could just get rid of our asshole Lt. Governor........

Marx was not a socialist, so that analogy would flop. I'm wondering myself why folks don't research what a democratic socialist is, so that they don't look foolish when they say things like socialism = c*******m.

But don't despair, should Sanders get the nomination - you'll get all the ads and videos you desire about how socialism = c*******m. Some people don't worry about looking foolish.

Hello lpnmajor and thank you for you reasonable post. The word socialism is thrown around today as a tactic to herd the masses against some progressive thinking in order to win v**es to their side and it is working.
A social program does not equate our government to be under socialism.

Socialism defined: As people being motivated by the desire to improve the quality of life for all members of society. They believe in a political system characterised by strong state direction in political and economic policy. Another key idea is the redistribution of resources to redress inequalities inherent in a free-market economy.

As federal republican government~ ruled by the people, hasn't any reason to fear social programs under its own supervision.

It is all party media manipulation and it needs to stop, with that said people do need to educate themselves in order to prevent this type of engineering.

  You and I both!! But I am v****g out my State Senator.Hell, if I could I would v**e every single one of them and v**e in 5th graders!! They would do a hell of a better job without doubt!!

S**k of all of them, its the most despicable array of supposed professionals that are going to protect and defend our Country...BS!!!

Party ?? Truly a pathetic government against its people, ruled by greed and motivated by special interest groups and its time to stand and make it happen rather than wait on hope...

Anyone going into office is a gamble, and once in, entrenched in"the way works here"....We, as the people of this great nation must stay active in our endeavors to "try" and keep those in office focused on what is right about this country, what it is founded upon and defend her!! No one else is at the moment..

The R party typically fails in sending out the correct message to the mainstream people and typically they wind up loosing because of it..

The younger college age v**ers are looking at that free college gift Sanders is off erring up, along with the rest of "perks handed out"...They do not understand taxing us to death to get it paid for nor the fat it has to go through Congress and Senate and will never be approved...

For those not in college but wanting to go, what better enticement???

As for Socialism, we have enough of it already and do not need any more..

Our country is founded on freedom and free enterprise, period...
The Constitution rules, not Socialism or socialistic endeavor...And done with the "Blessing of Liberty for all"...
Following that are the Bill of Rights...

I also agree with Worried..It is unlikely the majority will v**e Sanders into office..The young may, but overall I do not think he is even going to sustain the primaries...He has been a Senator for how long, and what has he accomplished?? Look up his senate record and see what he supported and didn't get through...

lindajoy, You need to know that college is being eliminated from the future of hundreds of thousands or even millions of working and middle class college kids because its cost is rising much faster than salaries. This not only hurts the kids, but America as well. If this trend continues, where will our teachers and other helping professionals come from? The only kids that will go to American colleges will be foreigners, children of the rich and those very few gifted kids. How does this help the country? In the coming decades, this country will have to increase the number of college graduates, not reduce them.

Good Morning Salt~~ I do know what you are saying and I agree with you...Why isn't someone looking at these exorbitant college costs and forcing a more workable charge?? The Colleges are pricing them-self right out of the market and more and more are going to junior college because they can not afford the price..That or Trade schools instead...

As for the only ones going to College will be foreigners..You sure have that nailed...Federal funding for them is advertised and enticed!! While our student get left behind!!

Tuition has increased like everything else to offset the federal funding given in grants, etc...Pay special attention to the second site posting..BO looks to "normalize the expense for i******s?? WTH???

I agree with you whole heartily Salt, the core of our strength is in educating our people. When you educate the people, you raise their reason, self confidence, judgement, awareness, ambition of self, family, community , and country.

To pay for a public education from 1 to 25 is much better than paying for them 25 to 75 in incarceration and zero productivity. This comprehension is beyond those that balk at what the feel is constantly being taken away from them, not realizing what would be given back to the country in wealth and not only monetarily.

Thomas Jefferson quote:

"I think by far the most important bill in our whole code is that for the diffusion of knowlege among the people. no other sure foundation can be devised for the preservation of freedom, and happiness. "

This is why he created the first public university and one of what he felt, his greatest accomplishments
