Fox thinks Obama wrote the check. They blame him for everything they don't like. That doesn't mean he had anything to do with it. It was a predetermined payment that probably, like most predetermined payments, went out automatically, like my Social Security payment.

It's only a big deal in the Fox bubble because they can skew it to try to make Obama look bad. That it their main function, not news, not t***h, not reality. You can't see it while you are in the bubble, like you can see the forest through the trees.

The question still remains, why does a broadcasting company deserve $445 million of our money but our veterans families can not get death benefits except through a private charity? Is PBS more important than those who gave their lives for our country? I could find no evidence that this was an automatic payment, but Obama did ok the payment while denying death benefits.

The only one twisting things around here is you. That money should have gone towards the death benefits, period.

The death benefits were fixed days ago. The only thing both parties cooperated on..PBS should be funded. No one, not the Pres, nor Dems or Rebs. single handedly picked out these individual items which no one wanted to lose funding. They were parts of depts and units of govts and not singled out by anyone..
