Every medical insurance policy has a clause that says you will pay for those who go to the ER without insurance, is this a form of s***ery?

Are you talking about medical insurance agreements under ObamaCare, or before ObamaCare. Our residents who don't have money go to the County hospital where our county taxes pay for their care.

Yes, there are quite a few moocher states that complain about welfare and do little to rid their citizens of poverty, yet who receive vast amounts of money from the Federal Government greater than what they pay in.

I wonder if you would have complained about the practice in early America of either being forced to join the army or escaping this by paying a certain amount of money, which the rich folks often did. Is there a parallel to ObamaCare here ?

I think you misspoke as the fools are the ones accepting it blindly and following in histories footsteps as you destroy the greatest country ever conceived and bring it to its knees. Socialized medicine has been tried in Germany by Hitler and in Russia by Stalin and in both cases it was used to control the populace and you don't see any similarities here. The liberals or socialists are all about control of the people. They want to control every facet of their lives from cradle to grave which is diametrically opposed to a free country and a free people. I'm don't want to drink your cool aid but I do want to be free and left alone. Over playing the race card? When everyone EVERYONE is forced to have medical coverage has nothing to do with race but look to a democrat to d**g race into it. Kids right out of school can't get jobs in their field so they are forced into something different which never seems to pay enough and then they through ObamaCare on top which is creating a class of well educated not being able to afford much of anything.

Socialized medicine started in Germany 50 years before Hilter. The conservative government of Bismarck in the 1880s instituted it as an Anti-Socialist measure. It strengthen the German economy and helped stop the emigration drain of young Germans going to America.
