So you are saying that American families need to just shut up and allow ACA absorb the family finances? That we should just Shut up and allow our long standing Constitution be shredded for a "New One?" I say that Right or Left, Dem or Repub, this is wrong. The long term ripple effect is wrong. The assisination post was wrong, but people are becoming outraged and apaulled at the helplessness they are feeling as our country gets gutted and begins to come under a type of c*******tic type control. There should be fear, but if you have any solutions to the unhappy folks, solutions that work, lets hear them- please. I don't want my party in congress to stop fighting for what is right, they are there to speak for us. And you say again Shut-up and accept the status-quo? That is what your saying?

The blogs have turned especially ugly and sinister by the Right lately. Assasination of the president and secession from the union is bandied about like choosing a flavor of ice cream. What are American ideals? How many died in the Civil War? And you wonder why liberals look for some gun control.

The fear and h**e mongering has to go! Can't you see that it is this d******eness, and not any particuar policy, that is bringing an end to the greatest government ever to exist. This partisan war is strangling any chance for the life of liberty. No more finger-pointing if we want freedom to survive and this nation to regain its prominence. Come together--Right Now!

Endless specious comments about the president and tiresome conspiracy theories without any bases in fact is, or appears to be, the only so-called foundation of the Right lately.

Are you the Thread patrol? Because you have only an opinion just like the rest here. If your rich, comfy, and have no worries- great, and good for you, but the middle class has all but disappeared and have been pushed into the level of poverty as our incomes and employers have been heavily burdened with taxes as well as ACA taxes and funding. Does the National Deficit bother you? I does me because I love this country, it is part of me, and when it is ill, so is it's govt, and the people complain. You know you could lay out an outline for how to complain, and maybe it would catch on.

All we have to do is agree with you and not demand that you support your position and you'll be happy.

As long as we do as you say, then all will be well.

As long as we don't have any different ideas than you, they'll be no conflict.

that is not what was said or intended , and perpetuating the us and them idea is not helpful , both side have to come together to fix this country , and pointing fingers and saying you, you are at fault is just contributing to the problem , we as a people are the problem and the solution and we have to have a desire to work together or we all lose

With Obama and his Administration pushing ahead through the head on crash type tactics with the House, there is no "Us, or oneness here." I don't like being swept under the carpet in my genuine dislikes for what is happening to my country of people by our own Govt.

I do not like the present situation , but both sides have to realize there is value in the other sides position and work tom enhance what is helpful , we are all in this boat together and we either fix it or it sinks

In reality he is not our worry, his "TERM" is coming to an end, it 's the lifers that concern me( on both sides) Read that once politicians are in office, their average income is1.4 million, not sure how accurate it was in numbers but we know they are all far to comfortable which is why their decision making becomes twisted to their own self interest.. It should be a volunteered service as it once was, with only getting reimbursed for outlay of expenses(within reason).

Absolutely! This is something we both agree on friend!

No. And I feel for you and your family as I do for my own. To 'shut up" is not and never will be the answer. Speak quietly and carry a big stick.

I have posted many times in the past that both sides are at fault, and for practically the same reasons. They overspend. They don't listen to their constituents ( except for Ted Cruz, and he's getting savaged by everybody!), they are entrenched because of the gerrymandering, they exclude themselves from laws they expect us to obey whether we want them or not. Now they want to raise the debt ceiling and unless we want a global economic crisis, which many of us believe is coming anyway, we have to allow them to do it. It wouldn't be such a problem if they didn't increase their goddam spending every time we gave them a little wiggle room. I can't run my finances that way, and no solvent business could do it either. History is replete with examples of countries that went broke, and I don't want this to be one of them. If we could agree that our elected officials are out of the ballpark when it comes to spending then we have enough common ground to work together.
