The twenty extra years is my favorite in this batch. All those vitamins and health stuff I take along with good meals kinda seems like a waste of time after that one. Guess I'll just have to party more, eat more junk food, save a ton of cash by not taking the vitamins and watch girly videos until my heart rate skyrockets. :lol: :lol: ;)

That won't happen until I am stuck in a wheel chair and can't reach any higher than knee high. So never happen.

My heart doctor made a real great sounding statement to me yesterday when he said that my heart would be good to 90 if I could avoid any of my other problems. After all I had my 6 by pass surgery 11 years ago and am still going strong in the chest.

So many things we have to be humorous about with emphysema, very near to skin cancer and esophageal cancer, and all the other k**lers lurking out there. When somebody asks me how I am doing, these days, my stock answer is I am here or I got out of bed this morning.

My doc is a little vague when he tells me I am in great shape for the shape I'm in. Seeing the glass half full gives a little more hope I will see my next B-Day.

The heart people tell me I have a great heart since it took 6 bypasses to save it but it was saved. My dad was still being told it wouldn't be his heart that k**led him and sure enough it was some of that emphysema that got him at 97.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My mom passed at 87, the youngest in the family so far when she fell and hit her head on a table corner, went into a comma and with the swelling she never woke up. Sometimes life really sucks.
