I liked those dimmer switches on the floor. My '94 Chevy truck has a starter that looks a lot like a dimmer switch, but it's in the dashboard.

Dimmer switch. Reminds me of the one about the blond wrecking her new car. The salesman had explained to her that the dimmer switch was now on the steering column and when she finally got her leg through the steering wheel, well ....crash.

If I remember correctly the dimmer switch which looked just like this was on the left side of the floor and the starter switch which looked like this as well would have been on the right side by the gas pedal. Some starter switches were on the dashboard as well.

Some starter switches were on the dashboard as well.
