Americans have become extremely polarized and hold such differing views of how our nation should be headed are we ready to dissolve the union? A Russian professor predicted such a split back in 2010. Although I dismissed the idea back then I no longer believe it is ridiculous. I disagree with his map borders but he may have a point.

This is where this neocon anti-Americanism is leading us: to the ruin of the greatest country ever conceived and manifested. I know some will love the dissolution of this country into the boundaries above but it will destroy our way of life and make America a Third World nation.

I disagree. It will probably create winners and losers. Then you will see an initial great migration of people to the nations they prefer or to the ones offering the most in socialist benefits. Also there would be a great racial divide

I don't understand how people say they love this country and yet go along so effortlessly with its undoing instead of standing up and fighting for our unity. United we stand divided we fall.

I can't understand how people can embrace this illegal invasion of our nation and grant amnesty just to win v**es. We have people more interested in power than the best interests of the nation. Time to go our own ways.

I don't really see this happening anytime in the near future. More probable would be the annexation of Mexico why stop at 30,000,000 might as well make them all American citizens.

The polarization is a tool being used to wage social, economic and racial war to gain political power.

I would like to see a survey done that asks the following questions:

Do you think the national debt is too high ?

If yes

How would you like to see it reduced through

A) increasing your taxes
B) reduction in spending
C) economic growth
D) b & c

If no

How do you suggest we pay for it?

A) increasing your taxes
B) reduction in spending
C) economic growth
D) b & c

I think whether or not you think the debt is a problem or not a vast majority of people would answer D. We are not as polarized as our media and politicians would lead us to believe.

Again. Democrats may oppose reduction in services and support tax increases. Others would probably think differently.

I think they are supportive of raising taxes on other people and corporations but not themselves.

I sell a 100% synthetic palm tree engine oil. It's good for 10,000 miles and is a renuable resource.

I had a chain of repair shops that marketed it to the general pubic, pricing it just $5 more than your basic oil change. They found that many people say they want to be greener and more environmentally conscience but when it came to costing them just a couple of dollars to do so they choose not to. They and I have discontinued carring this particular product.

They may say they are for higher taxes but not when it comes to their personal pocket book.

Yes but they do not want to lose the services. In many cases they are on the receiving end and tax hikes do not affect them

If the Union is heading towards fragmentation, I suspect the Supreme Court with its "our final decision on any issue fits all" power is the catalyst.
I look at our crime infested major cities, unruly urban school environments and a multitude of reverse discrimination law suits filed by an outraged majority as only some monuments to the Court.
Throw in an ever appeasing Congress that insists that it's possible to make chicken soup out of chicken s-hit even if they have to empty the treasury to do it and you have what we have today.

This is AMAZING. You know, obviously the country has not split, but to the extent that he predicted it coming to a head in 2010, he really kind of nailed it, didn't he?

And, by the way, this is fine by me, as long as the liberal Northeast and psycho hippie-crazies in California are no longer destroying the country we love.

I was reading the Declaration of Independence today and realized many of the reasons it was written have reappeared in todays America.
