My prayer

My Prayer

I am coming in the spirit of Elijah. Elijah’s ministry was passed to Elisha. In the sixth chapter of II Kings we see that our ability to perceive reality is not in our hands. We are held responsible for the actions we choose to pursue. Do the best you can to be as good as you can. Elisha prayed for God to open eyes that we they may see. My prayer is for God to help us realize that understanding God’s word is as necessary for our minds, lives, and souls as food is to our bodies, adding not only years to our lives but life to our years.

My Prayer br br I am coming in the spirit of Elij... (show quote)

Amen. A simple prayer that a friend gave me many years ago, still applies today. I pray it from time to time. It is: " Lord. help me get my mind right. Amen. "

That is a perfect little prayer! I seem to 'over think' many things. The more I think - the more mixed up it becomes! I'm going to use that simple little prayer 😄
