Joel 2nd Chapter

Verse 1

It has been long predicted how the mindsets would change. The kingdom of God is within us. Not us individually but mentally, the part of us that is not able to be touched. The choices we make are more us than our appearance; our appearance may change but is not so easy ti change the consequence of our decisions. We may be in that day right now as a day with the Lord is like a thousand years to man. We should not listen for an audible sound of a trumpet. We should look around us at the attitudes of people.

Verse 2

This is not the end. This is just a sign that time is winding up. We can know it is not the end because there will be time left for generations to learn from the mistakes. This tells me that one day people will realize that they are being taught by the unknowing. They will realize that although they do as instructed they don’t get what’s promised.

Verse 3 and 4

The place looks great before they come, but eventually everything is ruined. Look at Detroit. It used to be a city that people moved to when looking for a job. Now it has declared bankruptcy, one of the first municipalities to do so. The gay lobby contains powerful people who seem like they are powerful. They are just faggots. Men of God should be more courageous. Sooner or later people will realize intentions don’t mean anything if results aren’t achieved.

Verse 5

This reminds me of Hitler. He led Germany into another war that nearly destroyed the country. Those idiots actually had parades where instead of floats that threw candy, they displayed bombs. They worshipped a god of forces.

Verse 6

Jesus says you know a tree by its fruit. All they accomplished was misery, death, and destruction. There ceremonies had a lot of emotion and propaganda but it ended with the death of millions. Those that don’t learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Verse 7

They are very organized and detail oriented. The only defense against satan and his children is knowledge of the word of God. If you don’t have any, you won’t have any defense. However, a man studied in scripture will eat them for breakfast.

Verse 8

A republican governor of a state goes to another country and commits adultery on his wife in a hotel room and a big deal is made of it. A democratic president of the United States commits adultery on his wife in the oval office and it becomes a republican plot to remove a sitting president. Jesus says wisdom is justified by her children.

Verse 9

They enter your house through radio and television signals. Using music and entertainment they have changed the minds from preparing for their own futures to becoming a bunch of useless parasites.

Verse 10

They are destroying the environment though they pretend to be concerned with plant and animal life. They have no respect for human life. There are no abortions performed on animals. If you killed a dog the way they kill infants they would put you so deep in jail they would have to mail you sunlight.

Verse 11

2 Thessalonians 2:11 says God will send strong delusion that will fool the unrighteous. Here God is calling them His army. If God has deluded someone’s mind, there is nothing I can do.

Verse 12 - 17

True repentance would probably make God change His mind. However that may not be until we hit bottom. It doesn’t make sense to change your outlook if it is working. When things are bad, then you want to make things better. We are led to celebrate when we should be apologizing.

Verse 18 and 19

We will not succeed as a country with the same attitudes. If you do what you always did you will get what you always got. If we repent God will restore us. Right now we repent when we don’t even know what we did that was wrong. Smoking is not a sin. Any emotion you feel is not a sin if you don’t act on it.

Verse 20

It’s going to take an act of God Himself to get rid of these leftist and liberals. We don’t need them. When we get rid of them we will realize how useless they were.

Verse 21 - 24

God will not remove these leftist until we realize the harm they are causing. We are waiting on the latter rain. During harvest time in the Middle-East, it rained twice in the year. In early spring the rain helped the seeds to germinate and before harvest when it was time for the plants to bear fruit.

Verse 25 - 27

The message that Jesus taught must go throughout the world, and then the end will come. We have nothing to worry about as this false doctrine of “being saved” is being promoted. We are currently under the tribulation provided by the locust army. Locusts are parasites. These people don’t help anyone and actually hurt more than help. They bring negative emotions out of anyone who has the misfortune of being in the same room with them. The thing for us to remember is that God will restore everything lost.

Verse 28 and 29

This is the verse covered in Acts 2:17. No one should put a limit on the Holy Spirit. No one should say a scripture has only one meaning or will only happen one time. The bible is a living book. As you mature scripture should take on different meaning.

Verse 30 – 32

Around 1980 Mount Saint Helens had a volcanic eruption. In the smoke was clearly the likeness of a face. Everyone knew the face belonged to Isaiah. If that is not a sign, it will do until one shows up. The sun becoming dark and the moon turning to blood is also stated in Revelation 6:12. The sun makes life on earth possible. When it dies so do we so what is it talking about? The sun represents God. We don’t understand God’s word like we think we do. The moon turning to blood, what could that mean? Let me ask a question, what can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. But if I wash my sins in anything else it just adds sin to sin. For thousands of years it has been predicted that God’s word would not be understood and that satan is going to be mistaken for God. If the God of the bible is not understood, then the first supernatural being we see we will think is God. That’s why some will mourn when they see Him. Jesus is going to return when He is least expected. The time when you least expect Christ to return is when you think He is already here.
