Petition to censure Elizabeth Warren

This is an old issue, but has never been addressed. Wh**ever you think of Elizabeth Warren, her actions are an assault on our freedom of speech.

Senator Warren pressured the Brookings Institution to fire economist Robert Litan because she did not like a report he authored questioning the effectiveness of proposed rule regulating the IRA broker fees. While she is within her rights, even obligation, to dispute the conclusion, providing a logical argument as to why Litan was incorrect, her efforts to have him removed suggests that she has no grounds to question the validity of the study. Her actions are inappropriate for an elected official in the U.S. Government and has an extremely chilling effect on freedom of speech and academic freedom.

Her actions are unbecoming of a public servant. The petition is at url http://citizengo.org/en/32630-v**e-censure-sen-elizabeth-warren-over-firing-robert-litan

This is what both hard liners of both parties want, you can think it but don't you dare put it in print. She has every right to question it but to apply pressure causing him to be fired is going to far.
