Exodus 19:6. "And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation..." Holiness means to be without sin. We are not to commit a deadly sin and to repent of the sins we've committed. That is how we attain holiness. The sins we have committed determines our status in Heaven. Some of us become arch angels and others will be resurrected to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2. Most of us will fall in between.

God set the rules for repentance in the Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur. We are to pray and afflict our souls (bodies) by fasting for 24 hours. Nothing to eat or drink. If we have sinned against another person, we have to confess to that person and make restitution. Yom Kippur atones for sins against God in spirit. Things like not keeping the dietary laws or working on the Sabbath. Sinning against God's person is the deadliest of sins and it cannot be forgiven. But it has happened.

No one owes God anything..He gave choice, a thinking brain and a hope to turn to him, period..He requires nothing from us other than to follow the ten commandments..Everything else secular wise is man made misconception to enforce "their Church" and thrive...
