The Constitution is the determining factor, and it says "a natural born citizen OR U.S. citizen." Cruz is eligible.

Sorry, but you are wrong. The President MUST be a natural born citizen. Any other position can be filled with a normal citizen. Cruz is NOT a natural born citizen of the US, although he is a natural born citizen of Canada. Both of his parents were citizens of Canada at the time of his birth, so he cannot be a natural born citizen and is not qualified to run for President.

They didn't define natural born citizen because everyone knew what it was. Just because you don't know what a natural born citizen is does not change the fact that Cruz is NOT a natural born citizen.

It takes a little more then having a mother a US citizen to become a natural born citizen.
