I just don't think Cruz is constitutionally eligible for President.

This is a non-issue which was first raised by Trump when Cruz began to beat him in the polls. It's Trump's way of taking v**es away from Cruz with low information v**ers since Trump can't even begin to debate with Cruz on the actual issues. Cruz is a stand-up guy who told Iowa he was against their ethanol subsidies even though the governor of Iowa came out against Cruz since his son is administers the ethanol subsidy in Iowa. And Cruz still won! Trump told Iowa he was all for ethanol subsidies. Under Trump it would be the same old crony capitalism. He's always telling each audience exactly what they want to hear. So his message is all over the map. Go Cruz!!!!

This is came up long before Trump raised it. When I read about it a few years ago, & his birth in Canada, to two parents voluntariliy in another ocuntry, I felt that he did not qualify. I still don't.

By contrast, John Mccain was born to American parents who were in the Canal Zone due to his father's military service. The circumstances were different & his eligibility questionable but I feel the Congress should have long ago extended that franchise. IMHO, should have been eligible but I am not sure.

It is my undestanding that in some communities near the Maine-Canadian border, it has been extended so that children born in Canadian hospitals to American citizen parents are eligible.

Mitt Romney's father, George, was born to American Mormon parents in Mexico and he did not come to America until he was at least five years old. IMHO, not eligible.

The issue also surfaced with Barry Goldwater's candidacy in 1964. Goldwater was born in Arizona before it became a state. IMHO, again, Conngress should have extended the franchise but his eligibility questionable. This depsite my support for him.
