Believing In Change
At first, drugs or booze turned us on; ....... later they turned on us. We couldn't find any peace or no comfort anywhere. We had begun turning into the kind of person we didn't want to be, but we didn't know why or how that was happening to us ....... or how to change it.
Eventually, we came to believe that our lives could and would turn around if we quit drinking or using; that things in our life would get easier & better. And guess what ?? Things began to get easier & better !!
Do I believe in change ?? Do I believe I can change ??
Higher Power, help me to be open minded, willing, and humble enough to believe that what has worked to change the lives of others will also work to change mine. Allow me to surrender daily, & to say " yes " to my recovery. And then ....... allow me to be full of gratitude for my change of attitude.

God will bless and keep you always. Your strength comes from God and He is always there.
Facing reality after year's of denial is uncomfortable at first. It get's better with experience. 7 mo's & not really counting anymore.
