Yes, I got a huge piece of chocolate with coconut icing. AuntiE makes the best cakes!!
I had a great birthday, thanks. Three does came by and stood by the porch staring in the window as if they were saying hello There were two downy woodpeckers on the suit feeder and bear tracks up the hill. Great start for the day. Two of our winter orchids started to bloom and the red Christmas cacti are in full bloom, greatest gifts I could ask for, reminders of all that is good. And a couple of "our boys" called to wish the old man Happy Birthday. A long and exciting day for one that is older than dirt. Today both David and family and Pete and his family came to visit. They had to wait until the ice was gone from the driveway or they wouldn't have bee able to get up here, driveway is over a thousand feet long and steep.

Whew!! Brow wipe!! I just checked on him, and he was floating on his back. I got a flashlight, and shined it on him, and he couldn't help but blink his eyes! The little smart aleck is working it, hoping Mrs. B. would find him faking!
