I cannot think of a prosperous city run by a black mayor am having trouble trying to find a prosperous city run by a Democrat
There are several sub Saharan African countries like Zimbabwe run by black dictators. They are not successful either.

I think you need to define prosperous...it's really a subjective term.
Without doing a lot of research I have to believe that some of the cities on this list qualify, and they all have black mayors. Some with predominately white populations, some with mostly black.

I have noticed that GOP governors have a habit of appointing city managers to towns with majority Black council members. These unelected people make all the decisions and usually go against the wishes of the people. This is definitely taxation without representation.

One thing is sure. All of Africa was raped and pillaged of its resources and people by all the countries of Europe. Who later abandoned most countries when the resources dried up. Think about DeBeers, they control all the diamonds of Africa. Any diamond that comes on the market without their number etched on it is illegal. So Africans can s***e in the mines but can not mine diamonds on their own.
