Those good old Coke commercials back when Coke was really coke. Now we have colored water and chemicals produced from Monsanto and Co. Yes sir we have come a long way backwards haven't we.
The funny, or sad, thing is I remember a couple of them when they were in their heyday. Loved the one about measuring the wife for an ironing board. I couldn't admit that if she was still here.

Gee, I thought the ironing board ad was for Paul. Don't even know where mine is, haven't unpacked it since we moved here twenty years ago.

Mine is always setup. I am terrible about quickly taking things out of the dryer and frequently have to perform a quick pressing.

We have Tank trained. When the buzz of the drier sounds to announce the load is done, Tank runs around in a circle barking until we get it out of the machine. We learned long ago that it is less of headache to get it out so the dog stops barking.

You could turn the buzzer sound off. Mine has an on/off.
Because UncleE's desk is on the other side of the wall from the dryer, he had me turn the buzzer off. It was disruptive.
I have a perfect mental image of Tank doing the dryer alert doggie song and dance.

How would we know the load was done if no alert sounded?
It is really funny to see a 150 pound dog spin in circles barking then stop and spin the other way. He can bark quite well with a nylabone dog toy in his mouth, and his toy is over a foot long and weighs about two pounds. Fortunately Zeus doesn't join him. Chaos only spins in circles when we ask if he wants dinner which really is a stupid thing to ask a terrier.

One of our cats has developed a new fun habit. He is allowed a small amount of treats at dinner time. You walk in the kitchen. He accompanys you. When you ask,
Do you want your treats?", he looks up and meows once and sits by the bowl.
I think I will bypass the spinning from our big guy. At eighteen pounds, he could hurt himself.
