The greatest enemy to the future of Israel as a free nation is her own president Netanyahu. He is doing what he can to destroy any chance of the two state solution that is necessary for lasting peace. Without a two state solution Israel is bound to become a paraiah apartheid nation in a constant state of civil war, where a minority in power rules an oppressed majority. President Obama recognizes this reality and has put great diplomatic effort in resolving the problem in the interest of Isralies, Palestinians and the security of the United States. If anything he has not pushed Netanyahu hard enough in achieving this goal and in his last year should hold back on some security council vetoes to turn up the heat.
