The need for the left to create confusion

Why is it that simple questions are avoided by the liberal left?
Consider these questions, Why should America be a strong country, the strongest? Who could argue this?
Why should America not enforce i*********n l*ws as other countries do?
Why should politicians who make the laws not be held to a higher standard when they break the laws they enact?
Why should America not strive for energy independence and be subject to onerous taxation due to "Carbon credits"?
Why should America agree with our own destruction as a nation?
This is what the left is giving us. While we bask in the lap of luxury, we do...These l*****ts want to take us down further. It's not enough to control the unions and the education system, the tax code and regulations.....No, it's never enough. Freedom?....freedom....A bygone thought so we can fix what is not broken? Freedom has a price. But, we are paying much more for l*****t bilge. You deprive the l*****t/socialist/Democrats of money, they go away. They take....From your pocket. Just remember this when you cast your v**e in November.

Um, while I agree with many of the questions, it's not at all clear that the "left" are entirely responsible, in fact, it would appear that both ends of the political spectrum are equally responsible for the mayhem.

What should be easily resolved by logical thought, gets mired in a struggle for control of the issue and/or credit, for political purposes. When was the last time common sense legislation was enacted, without a big deal made of which party was responsible? In fact, the phrase "with bipartisan support" is now used to justify ANY kind of legislation - which rarely contains any common sense at all.

Whenever common sense legislation is introduced and fails to pass - both sides immediately blame each other - leaving it up to the individual to pick which side they agree with, just as you have done. Both the left AND the right get to take credit for this fiasco.

Yes, but what is good for our nation? The people. This a power struggle, and WE lose. Even though, we are the power.....Divide and conquer, that is the political left. Happens every time.

The left can't divide anyone - without the rights involvement. I know you really wish it were otherwise - but thems the facts.

If the left says "white", the right says "black" - regardless of which is best for America - because neither side will be caught DEAD - agreeing with the other. THAT stupidity is where the divide and conquer occurs - as EACH side wants total control and won't accept anything less.

I thought the questions on this post to be valid and on point.
I'd like to read some answers to them but I doubt they will follow.

Off subject somewhat to the posters questions but in answer to yours lpnmajor and with no intent to be critical we should focus on the real reasons for our divisions in government.

Term limits and special interest that bribe.

One hand can not possibly wash the other with today's vast distances between political ideologies. The power structure in both house's are stuck in their extremism's. The good ole boys and girls who sit on top of the heap will never v**e for term limitations. Imagine a h*****g party with everything but the Hangmen. These people are not going to place the rope around their own necks. This run-away train is heading for a wreck.

The point counterpoint discussions on whats become a chasm separating parties has reached an epic level of wasted time and energy.
Who did what and when or who is at fault is Monday morning quarterbacking. Which I am guilty of myself. It may be interesting exchanging historical view's but we should be focusing on how to get out of this quagmire.

For me, the only way out of this is Term Limits and dismantling the special interest groups ( lobbyist ) that continually buy Congress.

We have law makers in Congress that will see to it that neither ever happens.

Sleep tight America.
