Since little that America does is "Christ like", I doubt that God would even consider saving an entire country. There are, fortunately, millions of people whom God will save, when it's important to do so - which is at death.
During the living years, it's up to us to save ourselves. God will HELP us, if we ask in humility and with a humble heart - but how many Americans do you know that could accomplish that? Humility and humbleness are NOT common American traits. Arrogance and a sense of entitlement are - along with selfishness, self centeredness and so on. Doesn't look so good.
