Trump a classic narcissist waiting for power

Question what do people want once they have enough money....power, power to feed the ego.

According to the Mayo Clinic, narcissistic personality disorder is “a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others.”

According to a number of top U.S. psychologists, like Harvard professor and researcher Howard Gardener, Donald Trump is a “textbook” narcissist. In fact, he fits the profile so well that clinical psychologist George Simon told Vanity Fair, “He’s so classic that I’m archiving video clips of him to use in workshops.” This puts Trump in the same category as a number of infamous dictators like Muammar Gaddafi, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Saddam Hussein.

And although there are narcissists out there who entertain us, innovate, or create great art, when a narcissist is given immense power over people’s lives, they can behave much differently. As the 2016 p**********l e******n grows nearer we must ask ourselves, if elected president would Donald Trump act on the behalf of the will of the people, or would he behave more like a dictator

We have seen his attitude towards people who don't align with him, they don't get into the forum and they get kicked out into the freezing weather without a coat.

Can't argue with science. When you're right, you're right.

Trump's hubris is off the charts.

He's a populist that spouts platitudes for the weak-minded. Wise up America.

Yet your choice is Cruz...Much the same as Donald, he sprouts platitudes measured by his "establishment sense" as well..He is a non conformist to party and speaks his mind just as Trump..

He is narcissistic in his demeanor and I would suggest anyone with true drive and ambition has to be to some degree..It is what motives them after all..

Trump is $10 billion strong from what he has learned playing in the Business World and succeeding..Cruz doesn't have the age or experience that way as it evident by his personal financial portfolio/ situations..Doesn't mean he won't be later, but right now he lacks that knowledge...

I like Cruz very much and if he were the chosen one I would v**e for him..I'll just take Trump over Cruz first..Of course the RINOS don't want either..The popular v**e only goes so far and then it "fix it time"......

lindajoy-agree ! Trump has had varied, real world, practical experience while Cruz has primarily political experience. I will go with Trump. Trump does not need the job. Cruz does as he is in deep debt and that has to be paid back along with favors for his supporters. Trump can tell lobbyists and special interest groups to kiss off. Good Luck America !!!

Artemis-I suppose those doing the evaluating were conservatives or were they staunch democrats ? I do not trust much of anything coming from Harvard and I would bet that everyone of those who identified Trump as a narcissist are left wing liberals. Those who really know Trump say he is kind and generous but likes to win. We need a winner to replace the Whiner. Good Luck America !!!

MORNING Ricko...I agree with you as well..

Trump isn't owned by anyone and has maintained that in just how he replies.. Words are cheap..Action, as is his in what he says is the difference..He answers with exactly what he feels and to hell with how it impacts others..He has forced the others to stand up and try to do the same...Difference is theirs is still rhetoric... He's the doer, the others the followers lead by their nose...want a doer, not same ole, same ole..Change only comes by making it happen, not waiting for it or when politically correct..

Hell just as it has been, we can keep waiting for nothing or we can "make it reality!!"

lindajoy-if it did the c*****e c****e issue would have already been resolved would it not ? What people seem to forget is that Trump can well sit back and never lift a finger again for the rest of his life. Yet, he is willing to take on the job of restoring our country to its rightful position in the world and making it the America it once was. Yet, some would prefer another politician who would assume the presidency owing hundreds of people favors for the millions spent in supporting him/her. Do they really think that person would have the best interest of the country at heart or might he/she be prone to sacrificing some of that in order to appease campaign donors and repay debts ? Good Luck America !!!

They don't want a person who is interested in country first, Rick...They want one who is going to pander to the special interest groups that line their pockets. And we the people be damned...We have lived it long enough to know it too..They also know we know..Thus the need for the illegal that knows nothing...

You are correct about Trump and I'll take it one step farther and say what I have said in many other posts..Trump already runs with the big boys that do own this country and many more!!

He can bring Corporate America back, thus opening up a viable job base where people can once again have productive jobs..Not part time jobs with no benefits..Once that is accomplish and people spend back into the economy America returns!!
