Obviously Secretary Carter does not have enough to do.
The General may have, in personal behavior, acted in less then an admirable manner; however, this continuing persecution is questionable. Were he not an honorable solider, he could probably issue forth more dirt on this President and the president's minions then they want public.
Further, Ashton Carter is nothing but a political hack. He could not lead a single solider to the bathroom.
I have been thinking some of the things about Ashton Carter you seem to think for some time. Every time he opens his mouth about his job I become more convinced. The man sure as hell knows very little about his job other than political crap used to protect Obama.
Their reason for going after Petraeus has always been the same and they won't stop till they are gone from office. Obviously they fear the things he can make public. The part of this that bothers me most is wanting to destroy a general like Petraeus from surviving their messages. Obviously they will try to use something like this on others they have forced into resignation.
