You and me both Slats. Takes a lot of time to get around and take all those shots. Both times I visited I was on a tight time schedule and was only able to visit the southern rim. :-D

Incredible, isn't it!! Have been there a couple times..Both times stayed at the Blue Angel Hotel, right on the slop and spectacular to see its view......Just breath taking it is..Did the Canyon River trail the first time, the second was just to hang out while traveling through....

You want to talk about mammoth, spectacular and make you see how small you are in the scheme of Mother Nature that place will do it!! I've had to pull over a number of times just to get out and walk to the Mountain views, sitting there with all those majestic hues of rust covered mountain tops, and their golds, yellows, burnt orange, browns, red hues etc..Something you never forget!!

Fantastic pictures, El~~

Fantastic what God (who WAS there) can do in only 40 days and nights with a lot of water...oh, I almost forgot...man (who was NOT there) says that it took billions of years with a comparative little amount of water!
