The only problem I see is you make everything about race , why not honer King with a comment about the goal of bringing people together ?

Only have one question, why was Lincoln/Washington's birthday made into one? Not saying King doesn't deserve but presidents do also. wife I both say this a form of reverse prejudice.

The only problem with MLK day is that it's missing the 'I' between the 'M' and 'L', as we have been 'milked' for an uncountable number of years . Better to be a happy r****t than a disappointed 'liberal' What we really need is a BTW day (Booker T. Washington) And quit calling them Black's as black is indicative of darkness, gloom, creepy,negativity, and lastly death with a ride in a long black hearse. Unfortunately,that would not suit his purpose. King really wanted to have us all live by the same rules and honor. However, the black activists whose real purpose is to destroy all the progress and intensify the racial hatred held by only a few at that time.
