Too funny! Remember those balls with the raccoon tail attached to them? Turn it on, and it rolls around on the floor. At first, my cat was terrified of it. Then it decided to attack it. Thus began a beautiful friendship. Don't know how many batteries I bought for that thing. My cat loved chasing it around.

I like dogs more. I remember a Pekingese we had. It love to play tug-o-war with an old sweat sock. It would pick it up, walk over to one of us and drop the sock. "LETS PLAY". Well, one day I was busy doing something, so I ignored her. She whined a bit, then grabbed the sock and started running around the living room. Now, we had one of those sofa's with the skirt around the base. She ran around, then headed for sofa, did a belly flop, and slid under the sofa. Then she'd dart out the other side and do it again. Now there was a middle leg on this sofa. Since it was hidden by the skirt, the poor little bugger didn't know it was there. I guess you see where this is leading. I wish I had caught it on video. It would have been worth some money on the right TV show.

That must have got her attention. I have only had two cats in my lifetime but have always had dogs. As many as 4 at one time. :-D

It's a good thing she already had a flat face. She might have done some damage.

If you want a lap dog, you can't go wrong with a Pekingese. They are some of the most fun loving dogs out there. Not a day went by when that little bugger didn't make me laugh out loud. I suggest getting a female, BTW. Oh. And get a short haired one. Those long haired ones are a b***h to take care of.

We have a Cairn that is a real pistol. She is hell on armadillos, raccoons, possums, squirrels and the odd stray cat. She is also a good ratter. Her and our other mutt (cross between a S**tzu and and a Schnauzer) have teamed up to k**l rats and have cornered possums and armadillos. The raccoons are too fast and they usually go straight up a tree.

Thanks. I liked the one when the brush was on the floor. I noted that in the cat video I submitted, I'm amazed at how often they can hit an object with the same paw. It's striking that their paws can be a blur with the speed.

Never. You see, cats have convinced most people that they are too dumb to be trained for tricks. If you mean doing embarrassing "tricks" for treats is a sign of intelligence, I must cede. Do you ever hear a cat person referring to their pet (or housemate) as being owned?
