 $$ So a secret shopper from China reports to their home headquarters that the T-Shirt we sold to the US for $4.00 is retailing for $19.99! WOW! China is pissed.
Now Americans say we have had enough. We cannot, and will not pay these high prices anymore. But American CEO's would rather negociate with China over price than they would the American People.
So now Wall Mart, Sears, and K Mart along with other stores are closing down stores. They say it is because people are now buying over the Internet, Bull S**t! America has had enough of these high prices for the cheapest available product. Food is having the same effect on our economy.
You fill in the rest of thestory.
It is time we use the power of the purse :hunf:

The power of the purse it what put Walmart on top over Sears and other retail giants, and now the power of the purse is what Amazon.com is using to take a little off the top of Walmart.

It's not BS, it's free enterprize.

I say it is price gouging. As many times as these companies have been before the courts for trade agreements, and anti-trust violations. But they keep on winning. The door swings both ways.

So why does China care if we make $15.00 profit on a $4.00 shirt?

With Amazon.com, and suppliers like them, there is zero retail store maintanance or shelf stocking labor, less overhead and human resources work. So I expect retail prices to really drop, and make products super affordable again. I can't wait!

Just google "wall mart and anti trust laws" You will be amazed at the different companies listed. Staples is one also.

Walmart came into being because they sold stuff cheaper. Amazon is here because they're cheaper and/or more convenient.

But if you think they're charging too much, then you can make a fortune selling the same stuff even cheaper than they are.

Let us know the name of your store so we can price shop you.

If you knew anything about business you'd know that Walmart puts small companies out of business by giving the customer cheaper prices. And not Amazon is doing that to Walmart.

If you want stuff cheaper you reduce the regulations and taxes that raise the prices.

Do you expect negative inflation or what?

If the QE bubble bursts, you'll think of today as the 'good old times'.

Some are giving credit to Obamlammer for the lower cost of Oil. Reality check. Obama has ZERO to do with OIL or anything else in the USA other than DESTRUCTION of free enterprise.

The USA is in a major mess with China, as well as Japan and Mexico. If all trade with China was cut off for just one month, we would slide under and be toast. With NO industry in the USA producing what we DEPEND on getting from China, so many "goods" we use each day, would be gone. The same holds true for goods coming from Japan and Mexico.

We need to start making textiles and metal goods again here as we once did, WITHOUT the damned UNIONS forcing business owners to pay a worker $45.00 an hour to make a $4.00 T shirt!

All of this is something President TRUMP will and can fix.
