Here is what happened, quietly, on January 1, 2016:

Medicare tax went from 1.45% to 2.35%
Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%
Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%
Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28%
Dividend tax went from 15% to 39.6%
Estate tax went from 0% to 55%
A 3.5% Real Estate t***saction tax was added.

Remember these facts: These taxes were all passed solely with Democrat
v**es.
Not a single Republican v**ed for these new taxes.
These taxes were all passed in the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare. If
you think that it is important that everyone in the U.S. should know this as
there are many millions who don't, then pass it on.

And an add on. How much of this is wasted! That is what is so exasperating. And Bernie and Hillary want to give out free college. And Obama takes his multi million dollar vacations.

Are you so stupid to post information that Democrats in congress have the power and the numbers to introduce and pass legislation that changes any thing, let alone, the tax codes? All OPP participators are not as dumb as most of the right wingers here.

Is it possible that a person has the awareness to feed themselves and still not be aware that Obamacare passed without a single v**e by anyone but a Democrat.

3jack might suggest that it is possible, assuming he's not kept alive by a feeding tube

While you are a validation of r****ded dummies and yes, I am aware that could be construed as a dichotomous observation.

Notica how both party supporters resort to ; You did it first, or you did it most.

Supporters of BOTH parties are able to ignore the corruption of their own party; by pointing to the corruption of the other party/politicians.
It has worked well for the PTB that run both parties.
Corruption is their MO.

BTW; what if 90 % of what they accuse each other of, is true?

It has to be a feeding tube - Obamacare passed in 2009 and has many elements that were delayed beyond Obama's ree******n campaign - some of which take place in 2016 -

Republicans have controlled Congress but not by enough of a majority to over ride Obama's veto - conscious folks are aware of the multiple time either Democrats successfully filibustered in the Senate or Obama vetoed.

If you were half as smart as you like to pretend, you might investigate how much of what the original poster stated actually is in Obamacare, but pretending that either Obamacare has Republican v**es - or that elements of what was passed had delayed fuses - some of which all the way into 2016 - weren't there.

Do not disconnect the tube - you still need it

Don't try to deflect from the original lie you posted.

I did read the original post and there was nothing t***hful in that post about taxes. Maybe you should take your own advice and read instead of ranting

Just which of the taxes listed is untrue, or any part of the author's post?

Yup - you need that tube - unless you are too dumb to even realize that some payroll taxes have gone up due to the ACA -

..as to ranting - you'd think an expert at it would recognize when it was absent - but then if you had that much conscious awareness the feeding tube wouldn't be necessary.

Sorry Eagle, I think you got a hold of an old email or something. These numbers have already been debunked.

No, it is your falsecheck.org that is in error. It referenced 2014 while the new taxes are effective in 2016.
