And when did the CIA become part of the State Department? If anyone screwed up, it was the director of the CIA, petraeus, and panetta.

I don't know the T***H any more than any other American knows it, but I personally believe that "site eyes on" is more reliable than some dude sitting in an office only listening and talking, NOT doing a damned thing. The author listened to the hired hands that were there to protect others........and I believe that will get us closer to the t***h than some elected or appointed slob's report. The radical progressive Washington Times propaganda piece you cite is careful to avoid stating that there was not a stand down order. All this propaganda piece does is say an unidentified source said there was no stand down order. Shortly after the attack, several people who were actually present in B******i, and who were identified (unlike "Bob" ) confirmed they were told to stand down - no less than three times. They had no reason to lie. Of course, multiple reports and one email confirming the US military, not just the people in the CIA building, was told to stand down have been made. And a general immediately relieved of his command because he was ignoring the command to stand down.

Exactly like Hillary telling the families of the four victims (when the bodies landed in the US) that "We would get the people who made that video". And not Hillary denies saying that and calls the four families liars for having reported what she had said.

This article is radical progressive propaganda at its worst - or finest, depending on your view.

A couple of guys who were there, I don't know their names off the top of my head, came out with a book about the incident/attack about two years after it happened with the Bob character named in it. Of course their intentions were honorable, to make a book to sell for money rather than offer the info to the investigation committees. After two years it would be just as reliable, yes? What a crock.

Also, I heard an interview with Tonto, Oz and Tig, the guys who the movie was about, and they said they were given a stand down order but really didn't know who it came from; their immediate superior of some higher up. They were later allowed to proceed and it cost them about 20 min of response time.

The whole thing is so convoluted because so many have attempted to present their version of the narrative which best fits their position.

Its a lot of BS.
