Vladimir Putin is said to have said about negotiating with Obama:

Negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon will knock over all the pieces, crap on the board and then strut around like it won the game!”

If you want to see this quote you can go to Google and just enter that sentence and there will be a number of sources.

Good one, oldroy.

Did what you said. The first source had nothing of the sort.
The 2nd said "Putin said, allegedly, off the record...." The 3rd was a reference to your own post, as was the fourth.

So here's the way I see it....you do this for google hits. Cause there's nothing of substance here.

Nothing of substance? I think there is a chance that Putin really did make that statement. You don't?

Oldroy......you are asking me to believe something totally unsubstantiated. I put the quote in google as you said and stated the results. What's to believe...that you said so?

Wonder if America can negotiate switching Presidents? Putin certainly called it spot on correct about Obama!

See what you started, oldroy?

The choir is chiming in without even knowing that you made the quote up, based on a rumor on what might have been said.
For someone who excoriates this administration about lying, this is not way of making your point.

I rest my case. If you love Putin so much, move in with him and leave the REAL AMERICANS alone.
Tell Putin ( your leader) that you are going back home to your real country.

C'mon, Gatekeeper, don't get your skivvies in a knot here.

Consider the following:

1. It is no secret Putin has NO respect for Obama at all (as well as many other world leaders);
2. It was Putin which pleaded with America not to go down the road of socialism because of the misery it brought the old Soviet Union, but it hasn't slowed Obama down one bit. http://inkslwc.wordpress.com/2009/02/19/vladimir-putin-warns-us-not-to-fall-into-socialism/
3. In the case of Syria, any fool could see Obama tried to portray himself as a valiant, righteous leader who was going to punish the Syrian government for using chemical weapons. As facts came to light, there was a rebel group who claimed responsibility and indicated they wanted to k**l more civilians with WMD. Then the government of Syria said it did not used WMD on civilians and was investigating this. Then Obama back-peddled his rhetoric and wanted an attack which would amount to nothing but theater. Finally, Putin stepped up and said he would take all those weapons away from Syria which resonated with a great majority of the American public.

I find it alarming the leader of Russia is more in tune with the thoughts of the American public than the current occupant of the White House. It underlines the common perception Obama is out of touch or trying to make a legacy for himself as a noble leader instead of a Marxist, radical, r****t clod who has earned the disdain of so many of his own citizens and world leaders.

More than anything, I think you attacked OldRoy because the quote is quite believable by most people. It speaks volumes that people would not see it as a joke and think Russia's Putin was right on making such a comment. That alone should be enough to have liberal posters crying in their caramel lattes while sitting on an environmentally-friendly sofa at the same time being fanned with a current edition of The New York Times.

OldRoy: Thanks for the laugh! :-D

I concur. As I mentioned in another post, I suppose this means that I, and now oldroy, will have to take our Honorable Discharges from military service down from the wall, since we so obviously aren't "real"Americans.

A few facts and they run. Putin took their leader to the wood shed and made Obama look weak on the world stage.

OK...I did it again. Put the quote in the search because I thought maybe I missed something. I got the same result. It's a made up quote, "allegedly said, off the record".
There are no facts here to run from. But don't let that stop you from drawing your own facts out of thin air.
