Why would a god create a universe? If he needed a home for man all he need to do was create a planet, a moon, and a sun. The rest of the universe would serve no purpose. So in t***h, the proof there is no god is the fact that there is a universe which only serves a purpose to man if there is no god to create him...

And why the BS with "son" and "salvation"??

A guy on the radio yesterday said if there is no god, we have no purpose. Makes no since. My kids and those I help beg to differ.

You're suggesting that you're smart enough to figure out whether or not God had a good enough reason to create the universe.

You might not be stupid, but you ain't that smart.

He knew your mind would look up and ponder, so he went the extra effort so you would be convinced from the terrestrial majesty of the heavens, that there is no God, because he knew you before you were born. Everything, your personality, your outlook, to your heritage, to your lack of devotion to God. He left love in your heart to love your friends and children. You're a tare and the children of God are the wheat.

It's not a question of being 'smart enough.' It's like god wanting a drink of water so he creates all the iron in the universe. One doesn't serve the other. We are told that life is dependent on god so if that's true than all we need is a planet a moon and a sun to keep us at the right temperature. God could provide all the rest so in that context the existence of a universe makes no sense. It's only if there is no god that we need a universe to provide us with all we need for life--and that might just explain why every atom in our bodies was once part of a star and why the universe is so fine tuned for life.

And just because you aren't "smart enough" doesn't mean you can't use your mind to wonder. Maybe that's why eating from the tree of knowledge was such a major sin...

The scientist do not understand milk yet , if they did they would not change their minds on every few years on its benifits good or bad , as with so many other things..I'll stick with GOD!!

So, you're saying that you know better than God? You would pit your pitiful mind against your Creator? That's just too funny. God created the universe to display His power and glory. It's in the Bible. "The heavens declare the glory of God" That's why people like yourself will have no excuse, come Judgement Day. God's glory and majesty is right there in front of your eyes. He created the Universe because he COULD. And Science still has no clue why the Universe exists. You claim that just because we don't understand how it could happen on it's own that God did it. That's not how it works. There is plenty of science that indicates that it CAN'T happen on it's own. If scientists could even come up with a plausible story for how life began, they'd be light years ahead of where they are now. But they can't even do that. Why am I even telling you this? It just goes in one ear and out the other. You're just like the Pharisees, who witnessed the Miracles of Christ, yet hardened their hearts against Him. There is no evidence that will convince you. So I give up on you.

They also tell us that too much milk may be bad for us, yet they are silent on all the food additives that most people ingest every day. There are people out there who are, literally, eating themselves to death. If people knew what was in the food they eat, and what it's doing to them, the'd be horrified.

Why would he need to display his glory? Are you saying he's a peacock? The universe serves no purpose--none. According to the bible he is responsible for life. If that's the case than a planet, a moon, and a sun are all that are necessary for life of life as we know it--well that, and an god to sprinkle his fairy dust when needed.

As for who's hardened their hearts--your's is so hard that you don't even dare to think for yourself. Without the universe we wouldn't exist. We are an intricate part of it's existence--ours is dependents on it's. Every atom in our body came to us via a supernova; every element that make up our planet--the same. That's what we can say with utmost certainty--without any question, without any doubt. So did a god come into play somewhere in there? I don't know and there is no evidence to suggest that there is? What you don't get is that I don't need to explain the universe without a creator because nothing has been done to show that the two are connected. What I can say is that a universe and a creator have no logical connection--maybe god is just strutting--but that would just be showing off and not necessary for creation...

The simple fact is that you can't. Scientists have all kinds of half-baked theories, but no answers. And they never will be able to provide an answer.

There is no end to the amount of evidence for a Creator. Take mathematics, for example. Why does it even exist? It is not something that was created by man. It was discovered. Who created the laws of mathematics? Who created all of the universal physical constants that define how the universe, and everything in it, behaves?

How did life begin? Scientists haven't got a clue. They really don't. Once again, they have nothing but half-baked theories. Nothing more. In fact, the more we learn about genetics and micro-biology, the weaker the case for a naturalistic origin for life becomes. Some people actually believe that something that was lifeless actually became alive all by itself. Without any help from anyone, least of all a Creator.

So, how do you explain the Universe without God? You can't.

There is a group of anti Christian zealots who go beyond Atheism. They have stopped denying him. They believe in a God, an evil God. Because there is so much suffering in the World God must be an evil SOB, who allows some humans to do well for awhile so that when tragedy inevitably strikes them, their sorrow is that much greater.

The Words says that when The Great White Judgement Throne is upon us, all the people on the left would say that God loved His people more. He will show them that most of His people are poor and suffering, and that the people on the left got their gain and live alright, without having God in their lives. Those that don't make it, won't have an argument, that why He gives us free will. The souls of the one's that don't make will be like the oil when it lands on the fire, that smoke will go up forever into nothing.

God has His own time table. He will act when He's ready. BTW, all the troubles going on around the world were predicted in the Bible, including the restoration of the Nation of Israel. It says that the generation that witnessed that event will witness the coming of Christ. Won't be long now.
