Last night I caught the last part of a reporter on the street asking people, which you think is better Obamacare or the Affordable Health Care Act. Many like one and others like the other, even giving reasons, for why they preferred one over the other. Is everybody ignorant today. Not knowing after four years that both are the same is a disgrace to Americans. I watch Jay Leno, do some simple things out in the street similar to this and it was a shame, to here how many that don't know what is going on in this country.

But ask them how Lebron James is doing, or who will win the World series, and they know that stuff. I remember when my boys were in high school--they knew every word to every current song, but learning History was "Just too hard"!

It is SAD, it makes you sick to watch how dumb most of the people are. they have no ideal what we are talking about,they have no ideal what is going on in this Country.I do not belong to any party, I v**e for the best person.( The best of two evils ). I sure hope we get to punish this admiration for every thing they have done.

The fact that these empty headed dolts are allowed to v**e should scare anyone. These people are not conservative, progressive, or anything else, other than appallingly stupid. I feel that people who oppose my beliefs are extremely important to the e*******l process. If they do so out of knowledgeable, researched beliefs. These people are just as dangerous to Liberals as to Conservatives, because their cluelessness makes them easily manipulated.

A lot of people do not keep up with everything that some other people do. I, myself, am on medicare and could not possibly tell anyone the exact difference about all of the healthcare options available. A lot of things can get very confusing after awhile. And, yes, I do understand about Obamacare and the AHCA being the same. But, I would not care to insult others for not knowing. The more I listen to the news about everything, the more crazy messed up information keeps forthcoming from our media itself. Sometimes, it is like trying to name all of the presidents of the US or some exact location in South American or overseas somewhere. I think the media should be sorry for making fun of other people in this manner.

It was 9 out of 10 on the thread I posted with a video as the central part. Those people really didn't know the difference between Obamacare and the ACA. All they really knew is that many bad words have been said about Obamacare and few, at all, have been said about ACA. Most of them don't have any idea that the law has been in effect for over 3 years.

Floyd, it is the people who should be ashamed that they are so poorly informed about legislation that has a MAJOR impact on them. Government touches every aspect of our lives, and so many people know nothing about it. They b***h about politicians, but they cannot even name their own congressman, and have no idea how he or she v**ed. They work for us. That is like griping about your employees doing a sorry job, and you have no idea who works for you or what they are up to, and you can't be bothered to fire them, because "the next ones will be just as bad." You are mistaken; people like this don't get screwed sooner or later, they get screwed sooner AND later.

I'm also on medicare, seventy two years old. but the ones that answered the questions were young and some were well educated. Anyone living in this country today, better know what is going on around him. Being old does not excuse us from keeping up, with what is happening in our nation. We owe it to our grandchildren and others.
