Three more years we’re stuck with this class act.

By William Murchison on 9.17.13 @ 6:09AM

Quote:
Three more years — it hurts to say this — is the period for which the United States is stuck with a non-serious president. Serious national leaders try to get things done, stretching out a hand to possible allies, standing firm where necessary, giving ground otherwise. If Barack Obama is a serious national leader, Miley Cyrus is an Amish housewife.

Fresh from terrorizing the Russians and bringing everlasting peace to a war-torn Middle East, Barack Obama undertook Monday to work on the Republicans the same tactics that worked so resoundingly on the trembling Vladimir Putin. He made a speech.

If the right wing talking points weren't so obvious to everyone else while the right remains so oblivious to how they sound.. there wouldn't be so many laughs to be had at their expense. They aren't going to get it.. but the rest of us clearly see how i***tic they sound sometimes. You just look like you may fall into the oblivious faction

Molly, regarding the very entertaining brief article I highlighted,
I am so sorry your sense of humor is so lacking, and that you are so unable to comprehend the contemporary situation, and the need for irony, which that article encapsuled.

The mythical minions you envision convulsed in laughter should keep on keeping on. I am indeed oblivious to them.

There is a man of great evil trying very hard to destroy this formerly great country. About that he is fanatically serious. To those who are aware, a moment's respite is indeed welcome.

Speaking of "oblivious", you and your ilk are oblivious to what is really going on in this country. "Making it fair" and "re-distributing wealth" is not the solution to our problems. obummer does nothing but "make speeches" and blame everything wrong on everyone else. We've all seen what happens to those that don't agree with him. He's like a little dictator that has a tantrum whenever he doesn't get his way, much like the dems in Congress. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic and serious to the welfare of this country. The left side of Congress not only hasn't "c*********d" on anything, but in most cases, (Reid) wouldn't even let any possible Republican ideas get to a v**e. I can't believe that the left so blindly follows the "little man-boy", that they won't even give anything else a chance. Now, that's oblivious!

The right wing KNOWS how it sounds and it KNOWS how the left wing sounds. You are projecting, foisting your own character onto the backs of your opponents. IOW, you merely call us oblivious to hide your own oblivion. We know how you people operate. We've had enough of your side's idiocy.

I am not oblivious. I just don't agree with you that he is trying to take over the world by trying to fix health care and wanting to take care of the people in this country. You have theories and that's your thing and that's fine. I would never v**e forJust because you don't agree doesn't make him wrong. Imperfect? Sure. We all are. But there will be negotiating that involves getting rid of or delaying the ACA, it would be the same as k*****g it and the left feels strongly that it will be good for this country. They could all be wrong. There is a definite chance it won't work, but there is also a chance that it will do as its intended. Lower health care costs, give people options, make it available to everyone.

You are the one who said "everyone" will be covered with Obamacare. Health insurance isn't my bag, but I know more than the Administration does.

Our President Does not want to take over the world. The world views him as the fool he is. They see that he is a weakling and snicker behind his back, as they clearly understand that Barack Hussein Obama h**es America and has directed his hatred towards the people who still believe that America is the greatest nation on Earth. The people/sheep that support him don't see that they are supporting the man who is bent on destroying the principles that made his Presidency possible.

I disagree with that. I v**ed for him for a lot of reasons and while his financial views weren't one and ACA wasn't one, the rest he has held to for me. I was only left with one candidate honestly with Romney as my other choice. I knew a democrat was more likely to not attack marriage e******y, would likely have more respect for women, and would lead us forward instead of back socially, and would be more of a forward person. The right was downright d********g and embarrassing to me this last e******n. I cannot associate with people who are that closed minded and didn't see the people of this world as equal.I was left no other choice at the time. I would carefully consider a Republican, but they need to be progressive and not stagnant.

1. I hope that when you say "progressive", you are aware everyone EXCEPT "progressives" know that is the current alias the socialists use. And Americans have never accepted socialism (that's why socialists have to call themselves different names politically.......when the public catches on, it's time to change what they call themselves). I don't believe you know the first thing about socialism, tyranny, or any other form of government.

2. No one except the brain dead see all the people of the world as equal because ...... they are not all equal. They should all be free, they should all be equal in the eyes of the law, all people have the right to life itself - until they forfeit that right by harming others, they should all be free to worship as they please - assume for logic's sake that no true religion calls for the murder of people who have committed no crime. But people who want to have the "right" to take what YOU have earned for their own use are NOT equal to those who think you have earned it therefore it belongs to YOU. People who are criminals are not equal with honest and honorable people.

3. You are right about a democrat being more likely to be for marriage of women to women, men to men, men to 4 legged animals, men to children. That is because they are mentally warped and have no Christian values. Forget Christian, they have NO values whatsoever. We are talking about A******L behaviors here. People are what they are and I have no problems with that. What I DO have a problem with, and MOST republicans have a problem with, is when POLITICALLY the left tries to force society to accept as normal what is clearly a******l. Accepting a******lity for normal is a very slippery slope. Are you really sure you want to accept the premise that it is simply "caring"? How will you feel about it when POLITICALLY (meaning under force of law) it is accepted as normal that all women MUST have their breasts removed because a few women did and a movement to make that normal caused politicians to make that law? And don't even think of telling me that would never happen. It or something equally i***tic WILL happen once a******l becomes the normal thing to legislate.

4. What you call "close minded", republicans call living by principles rather than by whim, and not all republicans believe that. Living by principles means that one lives by a set of rules that he believes is the way to live and those principles harm no one, but set the standard for that one person. I am not a republican, but I live, eat, v**e according to principles - and those principles are MINE, they hurt no one, and I don't force them on anyone. They guide my life and keep me happy until others try to force me to give them up. The default position of the Democrat party is to remove all vestiges of principled living and turn us back into cave dwellers, figuratively speaking. Another way of saying that is that the Democrat party is trying to LEGISLATE us back into the land of the Neanderthals where "anything goes until someone k**ls you" because of it.

5. Respect for women? Democrats?! You have GOT TO BE KIDDING! Democrats USE women, they don't respect us. They use us as tools to get what THEY want. Democrats don't even respect life itself. They don't even respect each other but they hang together simply so that they don't hang separately. Don't tell me that Bill Clinton was showing Monica great respect when he had her bj him in the Oval Office. Don't tell me Al Sharpton was showing respect to women when he had that young girl accuse the college boys of rape when no rape had occurred. They USE women for their own perverted needs, Mollie, and they have NO, ZERO, NO respect for anyone but their personal selves.

But you hang in there, you seem to know all you want to know. I'm sure you will disagree with my assessment of the rapists of women and souls, and I hope you will be happy being used like an old dirty sponge - because you WILL BE used that way. You are already being used that way - you just don't know it. I'm sure you are aware how the democrat party is working overtime to eliminate ALL PRINCIPLES THAT THEIR OPPONENTS LIVE BY. That includes honesty, hard work, integrity, utilization of logic, family structure, faith, honor, love of country. Be really sure you too want to see all that disappear because what is happening has never happened in the history of this country, and God willing, it will be unable to continue as it is now going.
