It's a fact. Over 80% of mass shootings were committed with legally purchased firearms. That means that the rest were obtained illegally. So, just what are we supposed to do to stop these shootings? No law will prevent someone from committing a crime. What we can do is execute these people. It is also a fact that the majority of violent crime is committed by repeat offenders. Executing these savages would save countless lives. This is simple common sense. A dead person cannot continue to commit violent crimes. Can anyone refute me?

No, I cannot dispute your logic. But bleeding heart liberals will not go for it. They will call you a callous, unfeeling SOB.

While crying big crocodile tears and screaming for more gun control laws that have been proven not to work.

Every reasonable person knows we'll never stop all violent crimes, unless a "minority report" type scientific breakthrough occurs, but for those who watched that movie, even THAT didn't turn out so well. Everyone should realize that violent PEOPLE are responsible for violent crimes and it would be impossible to control every person all the time.

That being said, doing nothing at all, is certainly not acceptable either. So what DO we do? Perhaps, we should try the "all the above" approach, whereby we try everything. Revise our criminal codes to keep violent offenders locked up forever ( I would prefer h*****g them, but, well - you know ). Making mental health services universal ( do NOT confuse that with universal health care please ), confidential and requiring staff to report potentially violent persons to a special court, which will decide how to proceed with that patient.

Further, mandatory mental health screening/treatment for domestic abuse perpetrators and victims. Re-institute commitments ( Undoing Reagans "free the crazy people" EO ). There are several other measures that could be taken as well.

The problem with doing any of that though is - it'll take money. Money for more mental health professionals/facilities, more prisons built, more courts, etc. - and we know a certain segment of our politics rejects these things, regardless of their merits. Fortunately, if enough people make enough noise about it - even the ideologues will have to acquiesce.

How about shooting all the lawyers? I believe they're the main reason it's so damn expensive to put a murderer behind bars, or execute them. Just present the evidence to a judge and jury, with public defenders on both sides. We also need to limet the appeals process, for capitol crimes.

DNA evidence, or three CREDIBLE witnesses? Like I said. Most murders are committed by repeat offenders. Execute them, and the crime rate will plummet.
