Looking at all the post titles on this forum, I see what could best be described as attempts to treat the symptoms and ignore the disease. So lets describe the symptoms and maybe we can diagnose the disease.
1. A nation divided.
2. Unsustainable National debt.
3. Massive decline of the middle class.
4. Unacceptable unemployment and under employment.
5. Decline of purchasing power of the dollar. (true rate of inflation).
6. No accountability within gov.
7. Secrecy instead of t***sparency.
8. Failing education system.
9. Abandonment of personal responsibility.
10. Decline of acceptable moral values.
11. Massive rise of the dependency state.
12. Disregard for, and growing disdain for the constitution and it's intent.

Certainly there are many more items that could be listed, but you get the point.

At this point I would suggest that all the above problems have not occurred by accident nor by ignorance, but in reality have been deliberately planned and implemented by special interests, who wield enormous global financial and political power. The term New World Order will suit for the time being.
For those who will scream conspiracy theorist, I would suggest that you consult history as far back as the ancient Egyptian, Roman, Greek and Babylon empires and you will find that in governments, conspiracies have been the norm, and not the exception. So is the nature of mankind. Once power is acquired, it is never relinquished voluntarily.
Our founding fathers recognized this flaw of human nature and produced a document that "could" prevent it, provided we remained vigilant and educated as to the consequences of ignoring or tampering with it.

So who are today's tyrants and what is their MO.
Start with the formation of the CFR and Trilateral Commission. Throw in the Bilderbergs , World Bank, IMF, WTO, and the Fed and you have the operators. A very interesting list of past and present members of the CFR and Trilateral Commission who are or were at high levels of every administration is eye opening.
Their MO is right out of the c*******t manifesto. But how could that be. Start with the education (re-education) of our kids in progressive dominated colleges and universities. Preach liberation theology. Teach working hard and accumulation of money is evil. . Promise more than you know you can deliver, and instill a since of victimization and you have a v****g block. Use race, sex, g****r ID, and class warfare and walla there is divide and conquer. Explode the size of government and social dependency and walla again, you got insurmountable debt. etc,etc..These are what Marx called the useful i***ts, who once the objective is met are totally expendable.

So here comes the sacred cow. Globalization. Global trade unions like NAFTA, CAFTA, EU, APEC, African union etc, were the direct brain child of the Trilateral and CFR bunch.
The minutes of the 1991 Trilateral Commission began with the speaker, who was the CEO of the largest bank in Japan. He addressed the members with this quote. " Gentlemen, what you must understand is that these global trade unions have little if anything to do with trade, and everything to do with restructuring the global politic". He went on to say that the plan was to establish these regional unions; that the treaties were designed to be irreversible and irrevocable. Note that ()treaties dilute the sovereignty of all signatories. Once the global trade unions were established it would only be a matter of time until they would be merged under the umbrella of a global governance.

After the meeting, a reporter interviewed David Rockefeller and asked; " Mr Rockefeller, your organization has advocated a One World Government since it's inception; What do you have to do to make it happen?" Rockefeller answered "everything we need is already in place, all we need now is one good crisis".
The reported then turned to Brzezinski and asked "what you advocate is a global socialist order; what makes you think America will ever accept Socialism"? Brzezinski's response was " America will never accept Socialism until the middle class is standing in the bread lines"!

The events that have unfolded in this nation since, seem to me to parallel those remarks. What say you?
Enough for now. Fire away

Good job! I'll take it a bit further, however. All the things you mentioned are part of an even deeper conpiracy - a one world government and one world religion prophesied about 2000 years ago - propelled by forces we can't begin to understand. Ready....aim........

You're saying things that my son has been telling us for many years. I was reluctant to accept such demoralizing thoughts, but since 2008, I have come to the realization that it has been accomplished. First it was the c*******ts, and now, the g*******ts. What happens when either one realizes he is expendable, too? There will be another power-mad entity that will want to take over. Will a revolution in the US be enough to prevent world-wide collapse? I don't know, but I think many will die trying.

I'll respectively disagree. You are pointing out global governmental agencies that serve only as puppets. The people pulling the strings have, and will always be, those with the money. This has been true ever since the founding of this country and the purchasing of Hessians for use in the Revolutionary War. Our current situation mimics the gilded age with robber barons having it all and the remaining populace with very little. And when the populace gets angry, they go looking for heads to chop. Just ask any Frenchman what February 22, 1787 means. It was the beginning of the end when the First Assembly of Notables met. The only difference today is that instead of unique country by country problems, we are now a global economy run by global conglomerates. The owners (the rich), simply adjust by moving themselves (and their businesses) to wherever the most favorable government exists. The problem today in this country is that we have an unfair tax code that favors the wealthy with preferred tax treatment while everyone else toils away in a slowly bleeding spiral downward. And until this is corrected, all of those items listed in the beginning of your discourse will continue to fester...until it goes boom. And if history is any guide, there will indeed be a very big boom.

I agree, jasfourth401, it is the 1% who have such power to destroy governments and bring about a global government. Perhaps not overtly, but the effect is becoming quite evident.

As a child of upper middleclass parents and grandparents, I was expected to have a better standard of living. This has not been true for any of my generation! We have lost so much of our income due to the technology revolution that we are now lowerclass. Now, to really escalate the trends, 'money' is given the title of 'speech'. All of us can have our opinions and suspicions, but the economics are clear. Money is power.

Now had you come to the conclusion of a secret global corporate cabal pulling the strings of markets, inflation, and governments through vast resources, then I think you would have been closer to the t***h. Men of such near unlimited power and money could create any crisis they needed to manipulate anything for greater profit and influence. Socialism could be one of their tools but hardly their purpose.

This will cheer you up. You live today in an extraordinary world where your life expectancy is much higher than just 20 years ago. It is due to the impact of the American free enterprise system. You live in a place where everyone's opinion counts, and where everyone is allowed to voice that opinion freely.

Technology is to be challenged. You make it work. Not the other way around. You adapt and thrive because of it. Yes, you are watching a fundamental shift in our economy and what workers accomplish. This will continue...and speed up as our world moves ever faster.

But your great advantage sits right in front of you...and your family. It is the gift from your heritage. It has instilled thrift, hard work and independence. Nobody can take that from you.

My best recent example is a nephew. He snuck out of my sister's house last May for a few hours. Grabbed a job flipping chicken for beach goers. Pocketed 3 grand in three months. Age 14.

That's America. Endless possibilities. Revel in it.
