oldroy Loc: Western Kansas (No longer in hiding)

How many of you got to watch one of the classic games Monday night? I wonder how many knew just how that game was "set up" by the AP and Coach's v**es about who was Number 1 and who Number 2. The AP called Kansas U the number 1 team and the coach's called Oklahoma number 1. Those rankings came in during the day.

Okay, one group had to be right and the other one wrong. The two teams had been near the top in 3 point shooting all season and in that 3 OT game the Jayhawks shot 50% if theirs and the Sooners about 48%. It was one of the better played games I have ever seen and both teams seemed to want to win as much as possible.

Buddy Hield scored 46 points for the Sooners and Perry Ellis scored 27 with 13 rebounds for the Jayhawks. After the game ended Hield was interviewed by the ESPN people and got a real standing ovation by the "enemy" fans. I have to say that the two teams were the best ones playing that night in the nation although there were 3 or 4 other 3OT games played among others college teams.
