Every one in this country willingly gave up our rights when George W. Bush signed the horribly misnamed Patriot act into law. Your right to due process, and against cruel and unusual punishment went right down the s**tter along with any semblance of privacy. Many of you cheered because you thought it would only used against folks you h**e anyway.

You all laughed when Obama in his first campaign talked about clinging to your guns and religion without realizing he was standing up for, not maligning you. Guns are the opiate of the misinformed. Those in power have the ability to track where you are by your car or telephone, profile any potential threats to them by your browsing history who you communicate with online and by phone and even the crap you post here and on other sites. At their disposal are armies of civilian police with APCs, armor, helicopters, communication jamming and listening equipment, high tech surveillance equipment and of course arms and numbers.

Any of you who have some fairy tail fantasy of putting on the old camo from your glory days, joining neighbors picking up your $1500.00 call of duty custom AR-15 and fighting a grand counter revolution are dillusional. You have your testosterone replacement toy because those who own the country worry about you harming them about as much as you do a squirrel in your backyard. They know you will likely only ever use your precious gun to blast yourself, a family member or shoot up a school or place of work for others of the unwashed class. Look how they catch guys like the Rochester NY plotter this week, monitoring his communication setting him up and realing him in.

What makes you think they arn't watching the crap you post here and have just convinced themselves of your impotence as a threat? Read what I wrote, I mourn the loss of our rights that most of my countrymen applauded, in fact demanded after 9-11. As I said the cat is out of the bag. Your gun is nothing but a false security blanket in a world of surveillance, secret courts and data mining. Tighter background checks for gun purchase causes outrage amongst the parinoid in a manner similar to a shopkeeper going after a kid shoplifting a piece of hard candy while his warehouse is being l**ted by a gang of men with trucks.
